The problem is, there's a good chance ice agents are told completely different things. They're probably being told person X, Y and Z are 100% guaranteed killers and it's their patriotic duty to get them. Same type of misinformation and brainwashing they do to the military.
comment in response to post
Don't even bother. These people actually believe everything hamas - a real terrorist organization that routinely murders their own people - says. They are completely brainwashed.

Useful idiots. Perhaps they can to go Gaza in person and help out, if they care so much.

Pretty sure he's already dead. Poor guy probably didn't last a day down there before he was murdered.
comment in response to post
Do you expect him to hold a rally in a tent in the middle of nowhere to "go into the lions den"?
comment in response to post
A lot of those protests were antisemitic. There are a ton of bad actors in the pro-Palestine movement. A lot of the money raised is going to hamas, not to the Palestinians.

All workers deserve a living wage. Sanitation engineers are no exception. At the same time, garbage is a public health and safety issue and does need to be cleared. Bringing in the military to do it on a temporary basis is a good idea.

Yes, how dare anyone have concerns that aren't in my wheelhouse and which give me my platform. Influencer culture and the deliberate curation of society is a bigger threat than fascism (and what allows fascism to flourish).
comment in response to post
Same goes for the white car in front of it.

He's probably already dead. They want to keep the story in limbo until everyone forgets about it, so they don't have admit they murdered the guy by sending him away.

...preferrably a very deep dank hole full of sewer water. And an anchor attached to his foot.

No...the house is still on fire. The original tariffs are still in effect...it's only the reciprocal (second wave) or tariffs that have been paused.
comment in response to post
That is a really horrible take.

...and we eventually take that level of safety for granted. And become careless.

And the bigger plants take over a decade to become operational. By then America will be a wasteland.

Work in an assembly plant making minimum wage, no benefits, no vacation time, no security of future employment (those plants can close randomly on every economic downturn).....at a time where the cost of living is the highest in history.

China can easily destroy America economically. They've been working to position themselves here for well over 50 years.

At this point, he could rape, kill, and eat a baby on live tv, and his supporters would applaud it. There really is no secret that would topple him at this point. The cult is unshakable.

Only time Elon told the truth is when he said he could set the election machines to give any result he wanted.
comment in response to post
We're still not buying any of your American made crap or vacationing in the USA ever again. That bridge is burnt to the ground.
comment in response to post
He's playing both sides. Telling people to panic buy right now when the economy needs a boost is just playing to what trump wants (and needs).
comment in response to post
That would take a bite of his wealth. Can't have that.
comment in response to post
He's wrong to encourage it right now. People should've been prepping since 2020, with the way the supply chain has been screwed up since covid. Slow, deliberate and sustainable prepping doesn't wreck the markets or supply to the general population that panic buying does.
comment in response to post
It's not a benefit to encourage anyone to panic buy. Just look at toilet paper in 2020...it's made domestically and there will never be a shortage as long as there are trees....unless people panic and act like idiots.
comment in response to post
This is why you don't stock up...you prep. Buy by the sales, and slowly build up a deep pantry and supply that gets you to the next big sale and a bit beyond. So when things like this happen, you don't have to go out and get anything...you can bunker down and weather the storm.
comment in response to post
Bigger companies like walmart and target buy their stock 6-18 months in advance. Prices on most items in those places should not increase for a few months...if they do, it's pure price gouging.

No, it's about wanting to steal the rich resources within Canada and turn Canadians into the slave labor they lost with the southern border crackdown. Bad news for him...he will never get Canada. Canadians will burn every square inch of the USA to the ground before he gets a sniff of this country.

Now if only the rest of the Democrats would get off their asses and do something.
comment in response to post
It's been true for several years now.

And that is where we should be putting our tax dollars. Funding our own tech and IT industries. Keep the money at home and boost our own economy and job pool long term.

Those are probably members of his own staff. He isn't handing out cash to random folks for voting. But this will definitely woo the gullible into voting red.

Not to mention we don't want to end up in a cell in gitmo simply because we wanted to visit Space Mountain and see Mickey. Not to mention many Americans being outright hostile to all foreigners. It's not worth the risk.
comment in response to post
Too late. We already see what Americans are really like when the mask is off. We're not returning to visit the USA. Ever.

Here's an idea...blame the 2/3rd of the country that chose to either vote for him, or not vote at all. Everyone knew what trump was by the time the 2024 elections came around...and they chose him anyways.
comment in response to post
Everyone who isn't 100% on my side is a maga! That kind of stupidity is why Democrats lost in 2024. Grow the hell up. All you do s turn the center away from progressive causes. Simple fact is, it is the law in medium and big companies to have a certain percentage of employees "check a box".

You're not getting nuked from Iran. Use some common sense. You could get nuked by Russia if orange hitler doesn't do what his master wants.
comment in response to post
They've been "days away from nuclear weapons" for the past 25 years. It's an empty threat.
comment in response to post
When a certain percentage of your company workforce has to tick a box, it absolutely is a quota. And it's a disservice to people of various minority groups who earned their place in the workforce only to be labeled a "DEI hire".
comment in response to post
And both methods are wrong. Pick the best person for the job. Period.
comment in response to post
Not even that...in a few years, automation will replace 99% of workers. It's about tightening the noose so that when they're confident they no longer need us, they'll be able to dispose of us without much resistance.

The Five Eyes are going to turn in to the Four Eyes in a hurry....if they're not already there. The world is moving on without the USA.
comment in response to post
Not really. Even when there is a cure, people still get the disease. You still make sales, and still profit. Pushing the "big pharma is bad" narrative is how people end up injecting bleach for covid and shoving crystals up their ass.
comment in response to post
yes, that too....which is why they all act like dragons hoarding their gold

This should be a warning for everyone who uses starlink to switch to something else. It's not reliable if he can simply turn it off at a whim.

Definitely a well used failing business tactic. Hell, I live in a small town and have seen it personally half a dozen times over the last decade. And the rest of us honest people end up paying higher insurance rates to pay for it.
comment in response to post
Unfortunately, then you get a system where schools are funded by neighborhood taxes, and where the rich form rich neighborhoods and districts, where the poor are outside the rich school boundary lines. See it in the USA all the time.
comment in response to post
That's because the mobility works both ways. Easy way for rich to become poor is to be surrounded by people with their hand out.
comment in response to post
Old news....it's not what you know, but who you know.

Not to mention, most of the water the west coast gets flows from Canada...and Canada spent billions to reroute that water so Americans could get it.
