They are really convenient if you’re making a meal for one or if you just need to a quick meal!! The only issue I have with them is that they are a bit expensive, but then you do always pay more for convenience!! 🤷🏻♀️

In the uk you can get small one serve tins of beans and also single serve microwave pots of beans that come in a pack of 4 so you only have to use what you need. I generally only use half a tin of beans and leave the rest in the tin and put them in the fridge for a second meal the next day!!

If you already can things then it would definitely be cheaper because you wouldn’t have to buy any canning supplies and baked beans are relatively cheap to make!!

Heinz beans are expensive even in the UK, but sometimes you can find them on offer and you can get 3 small tins for £1 or 2 large tins for £2.

Unfortunately all the vegan goodies I wanted for Christmas dinner were all out of stock when I went to do the online food shop. I did manage to get a vegan mushroom and spinach wellington but it wasn’t that good. But at least the vegan red velvet cupcakes delicious!!

If you like a good comedy I would definitely recommend It’s a wonderful afterlife, it’s a really good romantic comedy with a few murders thrown in for good measure!!
