The current Dem leadership is one of Trump's greatest allies, I would say anyone still supporting them especially in light of developments like this are the real Trumpers.

Now they can be directly indoctrinated by a coporate prodcut, no need to even interact with other people.

fish and now it’s just the Sarcopterygii.
comment in response to
post
you wouldn’t really be correct as while Sarcopterygii, I think, used to be called the group of lobe-finned fish. When people realized tetrapods were Sarcopterygii they thought it would be incorrect to call all tetrapods lobe-finned fish so they stopped it being defined as the clade as lobe-finned
comment in response to

Mammals are tetrapods which are part of the clade Sarcopterygii, and is commonly referred to as the lobe-finned fish, as the ancestor of all tetrapods is thought to be something similar to this guy. So as elephants are mammals you could say that Elephants are actually a type of lobe-finned fish but

There are lots of fish but fish aren’t a clade they’re a bunch of different clades and the descendant of a fish can change morphology to make them no longer fish, grow legs and start walking around on land, but in clades descendants will all inherit ancestry so they can’t stop being part of a clade.

However you can also classify things based on their morphology like fish, finned animals that swim in water usually with gills and no legs.

In biology the standard taxonomy is based on phylogeny, i.e. what clade (phylogenetic group) an organism was descended from so the clade of birds descended from an organism in the clade of dinosaurs, so birds are a sub-clade of dinosaurs.
comment in response to

He's trying to say that organisms are all part of the group they descended from, the same as saying that birds are dinosaurs. However, I don't think fish is a taxonomic group used any more, it’s more of a colloquial term like calling something a bug.

It absolutely doesn't respect your time and as the game progresses the amount of time you're expected to waste basically increases exponentially. Unless you solve every puzzle and note every important detail the first time you encounter it, then the pacing becomes increasingly awful and tedious.

If you get far enough you can definitely trivialize the roguelike portion, but that doesn't really improve much because at that point the rougelike part 100% feels like a waste of time and you're still forced to engage with it far too much.

A game about being trans that contains fairly detailed depictions of the UK healthcare system.

I think it's a good film. I haven't seen the director's cut but I did look up the director "explaining the plot" and I think all the explanations make the film much weaker and less interesting.

If you're not worried about whether the Devs use the term and want reccomendations for games that can currently be played, I would reccomend Lovely Lady RPG. It also might be worth looking at Sovereign Syndicate and the demos for Rue Valley and Glasshouse.

In terms of using the term Esoteric Ebb is the only one I know who've used it in their own game's description. Weather Factory did a blog post where they discussed whether to use the term for their game in development. Hopetown, XXX Nightshift and Project [C4] are all v discolike game in production.

The post part is in reference to Post Cyberpunk, which often refers to cyberpunk stories that are less overtly dystopian, where the setting is seen as a bit more grounded than pessimistic.
The arcanepunk part is also part of the cyberpunk of tradition of using different technologies like steampunk.

Its a pretty common genre convention to call something a -like. Rougelike, Soulslike, Survivorlike, Zachlike. There's quite a few games getting referred to as Discolikes at the moment.

All four is not enough, we require advanced plays to take all five.

I also looked into this, from what I can tell this is an edited version of a panel from an old comic series called Girls' Love Stories. This post seems to be the origin of the edited version www.instagram.com/p/CfMtZ96LOGw/.

There's definitely a trend in anime of so called non-battle battle anime, where the story and plot are structured almost identically to a normal battle anime but instead of fighting they're playing sports or cooking or something. Characters learn new techniques and have signature styles.

With Trump, we've all seen that the American constitution doesn't protect you at all from limitless totalitarianism. By becoming a state of the Canadian federation, you would be protected from abuse. The Canadian constitution is obviously better than yours, people actually respect that one.

Whatever idea is being discussed may still have some relevance in a non-scientific context, but if your conception of divinity is so vague it is unfalsifiable then it has no relevance in a scientific context.
comment in response to
post
It's a problem of falsification, if a model is unfalsifiable then it means it makes no measurable predictions and can therefore be trivially dismissed. If someone can't imagine what could constitute scientific proof of a claim then the claim is irrelevant and can be trivially dismissed.

The liberals resisted all of that progress as much as they could, the fact those changes will be reversed is also due to the liberals actions. People on the "far left" have been fighting for those causes long before the liberals were and will be fighting for them long after the liberals abandon them

I don't think I've ever seen oyster crackers served in the UK but I think they would be seen as a type of biscuit, but they would probably just be called oyster crackers.
comment in response to

In the UK a cookie would usually be seen as a type of biscuit. Biscuits cover a pretty wide range of foods from sweet to savoury but cookies usually only refer to biscuits that are variations of something like a chocolate chip cookie, so they're always baked, sweet and usually circular.

Oh my apologies, I was wrong. The only sequel I was aware of was the other spin off, which I think has a totally different cast. Guess I either missed it when I read the manga or it wasn't out yet. Thanks for making me aware, I might check it out.

I'm not sure what you mean with Alice in Boarderland they only return to the world outside of the game at the end of the story and in the manga that's plainly stated to be the end, they can't go back. Clearly the TV show wants a 3rd season so I would guess we'll go back, but that hasn't aired yet.
