Ugh. Theyā€™ve been called Freedom Fries at the Pentagon for years.

Sounds lovely! I too live in a house in the woods now. I think Iā€™ll always miss SoCal though.

I had to look at that twice, why yes, itā€™s Pence! Say what you will (and Iā€™ll probably agree), but he did the right thing Jan. 6 and heā€™s standing up now. Heā€™s still a weirdo religious nutbag, but he seems to have a conscience, which is more than I can say for many on the right.

Ohhh, Inglewood was rough back then. My dad was in San Bernardino. Iā€™m sorry you donā€™t have happy memories, I know I was lucky.

I do remember the drills. I was east of LA, but my dad was a cop and worked the riots. We ran track in that smog and spit up blood. And the gas lines, oy. Fun place to grow up, but Iā€™m not sure the country was great back then. At least not for minorities.

This is by far the worst, but we did live through civil unrest in the 60ā€™s and 70ā€™s. I lived in CA, and remember the Wattā€™s riots, desegregation, and white people being absolutely horrible to blacks, mad about no more separate but equal.

Itā€™s all happening again. I hope Zelensky knows half of us support him and hate that this is happening. Not that it makes a difference, but I just want to give him a hug. I feel so badly for him.

Same sis, same. Or at least out of this country.

Thank you! Just looked a little sus to me, but luckily I donā€™t get too many letters from the IRS.

I just look online, and if I see something I want on Amazon, I go straight to that companyā€™s website and order directly from them.

Yes! To be fair, Iā€™ve NEVER ordered through Amazon, and havenā€™t been into a Walmart in 20 years. Target was tough for me but Iā€™m done. FB is next. Deleted X and Insta. Iā€™m actually having fun with this. Each time I do a little something I whisper a little ā€œfuck youā€.
