As Mr. Spock would say: "FASCINATING!"
BTW, does anyone know Spock's first name?

Don't worry;
President Trump continues to deny man-made Climate Change and its subset, Global Warming.
So there MUST be another explanation!
Maybe the Earth IS hollow! LOL!

Jennifer:
Maybe you should say that a Trade "DEFICIT" is not a "SUBSIDY".
A "SUBSIDY" is what Denmark gives Greenland each year.
A "SUBSIDY" is giving someone or some Nation money, with NO tangible items in return.
Am I "subsidizing" my local Supermarket by buying from them?
NO.

Jennifer:
The Constitution has TWO "Emoluments Clauses" in Articles I & II.
The "Article II" Emoluments Clause doesn't prevent the President from receiving an "Emolument" from a Foreign Nation.
Seems the SCOTUS never reconciled the contradiction between the 2 Clauses.
I will email you on this.

But we are not told WHY his Visa was revoked?
Was it for a "Valid" reason.

Last Year, Biden was POTUS and Biden might not deport someone just because his Student Visa was revoked.
It would be nice to know WHY it was revoked!
But if you ask such a question, you could be DEPORTED!

I am old enough to remember when Republican Senator Barry Goldwater warned us of "Creeping Communism" in the 1960s.
But since at least Jan 20th, 2025, we have had "Creeping Fascism"!
Just supporting Palestinians - a Free Speech right -- became "reason" to Deport!
Now, NO "reason" is given!

Well, Chrystia Freeland, running for Prime Minister, said that Canada should become closer to France and the UK, since she said Canada may need the Nukes of those Nations to protect itself from Trump!
If I read that 3 months ago, I'd think it was Science Fiction!
comment in response to

I hope Chrystia Freeland becomes the new Prime Minister.
She has good experience, having dealt with Trump when he was Trump-45, and worked on the USMCA Trade Deal.
And then Trump will be like the Ham in a Ham Sandwich, with
a Woman Leader to his North and South.

If former Presidents Clinton, Bush-43, and Obama would just issue a joint statement that they do not approve of what Trump is doing domestically, wiping out NOAA and Internationally, destroying our Alliances with other Nations, that would be great!

What makes it even more disgusting, is that back around October 2024, Trump was saying "if Kamala gets elected, then Foreign Leaders will take advantage of her! They will use her for a Plaything!"
And since Jan 20th, 2025, Trump has been Putin's PUPPET!

Well, Rumor has it that Trump will try to run again, in 2028, even though the 22nd Amendment forbids it!
But if he does, Obama will be only 67 in 2028 and Obama could run AGAIN TOO!
And in 2028, Trump will be 82 !

Makes you wonder, doesn't it?
I thought it was rich of Trump to "complain" the Democrats NEVER clap or stand for HIM!
When was the last time that GOP Congress Members clapped or stood for a DEMOCRATIC President?
NEVER!

You got that right!
If I were Wharton, I would ask Trump to return his Diploma and cancel his BS in Economics.
Anyone who does not know how Tariffs work -- and who cannot tell the difference between a Trade Deficit and a "SUBSIDY", has no business holding a BS in Economics!

I agree.
But kinda too late now!
Let's hope the Republic survives until 2029.
As Ben Franklin told that woman in Sep 1787:
"A Republic, Madam, if you can KEEP it!"

And 6,000 NOAA Workers, many of them Scientists and Engineers, (out of 12,000), that Musk's DOGE Frat Boys want to fire! Musk wants to cut NOAA's $6.8 Billon Budget 30%. $6.8 Billion is Decimal 0.001007 of a total Federal Budget of $6,750 Billion.
If you earned $50K, it would be like spending $500.

It is mind-boggling to see how far this Democratic Republic has fallen, in only about 20 days!
I go back to Jan 10th, 49 BC/ BCE, when Julius Caesar crossed the Rubicon River with 6,000 Troops, putting a De Facto end to the Roman Republic, which had endured for 460 years, or twice as long as ours.

As long as Mitch falls on his shell (being half Turtle), he'll be OK. He WAS one of 3 GOP Senators who voted against Hegseth as Defense Secretary.
He suddenly realized how terrible is the "FRANKENTRUMP" Monster he helped to create, and fail to Convict, (twice), to prevent him from running again.

We have no money to do anything, with the Budget Deficit at $2.1 Trillion. That is almost Russia's ENTIRE GDP of $2.2 Trillion!
Source: usdebtclock.org
Well, Elon Musk stuck his DOGE icon over the "Actual" Budget Deficit, but you can calculate: $5.0 T Revenues - $7.1 T spending = ($2.1) Deficit.

Dictators like Putin and Xi Jinping need a Rubber-Stamp Parliament or Congress, to vote to amend the Constitution.
If the Supreme Court allows Trump to amend the 14th Amendment via an Executive Order, rather than a Constitutional Amendment, Trump will have MORE power that those Dictators! Wake up!

A 49% Plurality was enough, since Trump won the Electoral College.
I know, I read the May 2024 Mother Jones article about how the Electoral College was a product of Slavery.
But it's still in the Constitution.
Maybe if Biden had dropped out in Dec 2023, as he promised, then the Dems might have won.

218 TO 215 to Impeach or not Impeach?
218 + 215 is 433, so will do the other 2 Congresspersons vote to Impeach?
But you need 20 Republican Senators to Convict him and remove him from Office.
But it you did that, JD Vance would be POTUS, so how is that an improvement?

The Bible says that, one day the Antichrist will walk the Earth
-Daniel Chapters 2 & 9 and most of Revelation.
I'm reading "THE FOURTH BEAST: Is Donald Trump the Antichrist?", By Lawrence Moelhauser, with an open mind - I disagree with the premise. He worked 10 years as an Army Chaplain Assistant.

Biden capped Insulin at $35 a month.
Last week, Trump did away with that cap.
He should have done away with the Social Security Tax Salary Cap. Why does someone making $20 million a year (like the Walmart CEO) pay SS Tax on less than 1% of his income, when a person making $50,000 pays it on 100%?

Other Nations have 3, 4 or more Major Parties, but they lack an Electoral College.
In order to have a fair election, we need Ranked Choice Voting, so people can vote for TWO Presidential Nominees in the General Election. You take the top 2 and give them the votes of their voters' 2nd choice.

The article says we need a Third Party. But a Third Party could spilt the Left and ensure a Republican Victory on 2028.
It would be similar to how Bill Clinton won the 1992 Election with 42% of the Popular Vote. (Ross Perot pulled in 19% of the Popular Vote, even though he said crazy things.)

Like when Nazi Foreign Minister Von Ribbentrop was given a State Dinner at the White House.
OH, WAIT!
That only happened in Fiction, in the Amazon Series: "The Plot Against America", based on Phillip Roth's novel of the same name.
It's all about how Charles Lindburgh defeats FDR in 1940.
