Only auto-hagiographies should be allowed; looking at you Aleister Crowley.

Is that knot theory? Jeebus, looks more abstract than topos - at least geometrically.

Biscuits and bacon-fat gravy in Kentucky at a dive bar in the morning and haute Cincinnati chili 6-way in the evening. I could do limbo that way.

When the cops end up killing someone this is going to become nightly in some metros.

I'd wager it is likely those chewable tobacco pouch things.

I remember being 10 and drug to an anti-apartheid protest at a college. I wonder if human society would be wiser if we all lived longer, or if the cruel would just find a higher perch.

I'm of the opinion this whole American thing should be revisited. Let us have a 2nd American Constitutional Convention with 50%+ women. Proportional representation.

We need more fabulist narratives in film. Someone needs to film some Borges.

Someone needs to design a cat language keyboard.

Is it possible to teach corvids to start fires with high Mohs scale rocks and all the steel us humans have laying about? Crows should have little encampments with fire imho.

Do you want Iran to hit a big target in the US?

Hopefully it is just penguins microwaving burritos or something benign.

Economic stagflation causes more terror/violence esp political. Depending on how far Trump drags down the economy, this can get a whole lot worse. The assassin was looking for a job in government as of 2 months ago unemployed.

Starting to seem like he had messianic tendencies, not just grievance-motivated political violence.

The right wing took postmodernist critiques of truth of those in power and inverted the critiques to those already oppressed. We inhabit a world where the right wing increasingly live in a post-truth fantasy land where policies that are largely unpopular/minoritarian are championed as populist.

I'll go with South Africa, the UN, and 100's of NGOs who have called Israel an apartheid state. Still a chance for you to be on the right side of history.

Would studies like this be a guiding light for other nucleic acid backbones in XNA to make analog proteins to DNA? I guess you would need XNA Polymerases and XNA ribosomes first? Been awhile since I took biology.

In the new issue of @cp-trendsgenetics.bsky.social, @wiringthebrain.bsky.social & Nick Cheney seek out a better metaphor. They propose a generative model concept to capture the indirect, distributed, & non-linear relationship between info in the genome & form of the organism. Worth a read: 🧬👇🧪 11/11

Americans are living in an era of Right-Wing Postmodernism and Post-Truthism. As the right wing in the US issued post-truth critiques/lies/propaganda of all aspects of the open society the MSM has given inveterate liars on the right more attention than truth tellers on the left.

American democracy was founded on violence, resisting against a king who abused his power.

Do not put lotion on tear gas/pepper gas skin. Watched an older woman do that in 2020, she was crying for 20+ minutes.

Pendulum swings both ways. If this is like the 60's/70's, then only a matter of time until right wing violence by ICE, cops, and RW domestic terrorists provokes violence from those they target. Groups like Black Bloc Antifa are reactionary, they do not exist without active fascism.

Highly illegal, no paint shop that I know've would do it.

What would a dark photon telescope look like ? They mix a bit with EM, theoretically.

It is why cops go after retail theft more than traffic tickets in some areas. Easier and less chance of violence towards themselves. Cops are born cowards.

Reminds me of one of my cousins who had a wedding for ~100 guests and like 10 people showed up. He was marrying for the 3rd time. Divorced and MAGA now.

This is starting to look like the 1970's stagflation-driven uptick in political-motivated violence. High inflation and stagnant economic growth, contributed to a broader sense of societal discontent and distrust in institutions; and with Trump, trust in many institutions are at all time lows.

Israeli civilians in those areas I guess are just screwed then.

I am at the point, no stateless model will ever reason period; because, that is a horrific thing to think about tbh.

Ya gonna start taking cops licenses away who do these things out of spite/politics?

More tickets would help. Most cities wrote more tickets - by officer - 20-30 years ago with smaller populations.

We need max wage/compensation laws. $10 million or so a year should be enough for everyone, cash and stock.

Does that include the police - some of whom have had half-a-dozen lawsuits against them?

I just wish my own country would sign up with the ICC. The US could do a lot of damage unchecked.

Leveling apartment building in Tehran to kill one person is not defense. Shame on Europe for collaborating with war criminals.

Harris was what, 10th place in the 2020 primary? It is amazing she was close at all. Need real primaries to win real elections.

What about Israel directly having their hands up the ass of American politicians like Chuck Schumer? Chuck is at 18% popularity - half as popular as Trump - why is he leader in the Senate? We all know the answer.

Targeting entire apartment buildings to kill one guy is not acceptable by anyone for any reason.
