As a kid I moved a lot. Custody battles, new houses etc. I don’t recall ever having a teddy. ☹️
But I had a Kissing Barbie. I’d wanted one so badly, and I finally got her. In one of the moves she was lost. I don’t think I had her for long.

Arbitrary rules is what pissed me off. Not everyone who enters the Iditarod is going to win. They know red lantern is usually 3-5 days after the winner. If you’re pulling the non-competitive rule, what’s the definition? 4 days behind at the midway? X number of miles?

I remember waking up suddenly in the dark and realising that @blairbraverman.bsky.social and the team would be arriving in Nome imminently. It was something like 4:30am in Sydney, so I sat on the couch in the dark and watched them cross over. I was so excited for them all that I cried 🙃

We once had a hermit crab who escaped their tank and traversed the entire house to the bathroom before we found them. Through two rooms and down a hallway into bathroom. Chaotic!

We built a new library in 2023. We told the architect and signage people over and over “lots of signs for the bathrooms” what did they leave out? 😫

We adopted him just after he lost his leg. We’re not sure if he got into an accident because he’s a bit dumb, or if he took a knock to the head in the accident where he lost his leg!!
