Thank you for posting so many photos of cats and turtles and nature. Admittedly, I don’t think about it much in the moment, but the photos you share help steer my feed (and therefore my mood) towards brighter, more peaceful vibes. It’s nice!

I’ll never forget moving my brother into a 7th floor Buskwick apartment that had a few windows facing an inner courtyard. Generations of apartment dwellers had thrown their garbage into the courtyard from those windows, and it was at least a couple stories tall by the time my bro moved in.

Hey! I’m Ray, a fellow ND who makes websites, rides bikes, and loves music. Favorite board game is probably Wingspan or Machi Koro 2.

Absolutely. Just downloaded and configured Ice myself. Looks like an awesome OS replacement. Thanks for the recommendation!

I didn't know Bartender was acquired until seeing this post, and didn't understand why one might feel uneasy about it until I saw that the new owners don't even list the products that they've acquired on their website. Why hide such important info? 🤔

I just realized you can completely remove the “pages” that appear in the tiny icon list to the right of the screen. Bye, useless clutter!

I’m not sure if this solves your problem, but I’ve enjoyed using Twind in the past. Twind ships a client-side Tailwind compiler, so you don’t need a build step or a giant CSS file. It builds on the fly in the browser and it’s wonderful.

I accept this reality because it means we can also call individual posts “biskees”

Doesn’t the cereal get soggy?? I’ve never tried it warm but I do enjoy a nice bowl of oatmeal…how similar are the mouthfeels? 😂

The Block Party experience is just so well done. I'm impressed! Thank you for putting so much hard work and intention into the service.

Oh…I’m seeing it a lot. Like…maybe on 15% of everyone’s profiles. So it might not be something you need to worry about. In that case, sorry for the noise!

Just FYI Bluesky says your handle is invalid. You might already know about that, but sharing just in case!

Same. My library offers 50 pages for free each week, and I realistically never need that much. Free printing!

Absolutely. I switched to Apple Music—despite the clunky UI—because this sort of thing kept driving me up a wall. I didn’t realize just how MUCH Spotify pushes stuff at you until I’d moved away from it. It feels insulting, like I can’t be trusted to know what music I’d like to listen to.

I thought maybe it was just tongue-in-cheek. “Documentation websites are a waste of time, so here’s mine: [gestures at a blank page]” 😄

(Same - just a blank page for me)
