But seriously spite does help me. Fuck then I’ll outlast all those dumb orange turds. And if other people need to step back for a while and take care of themselves that’s ok. It’s an endurance race. The people who step back now can always rise up again and maybe others keeping up will help them too.

Most times I run humanoids I’ll give them range as well. Why wouldn’t a bandit have a crossbow if he’s robbing merchant wagons? Just roll the usual melee modifiers and say it’s ranged. The players don’t have the stat block. Always comes back to tip #1: Lie!

I’ve been thinking about this some. I also read a lot of his works through out my life and what makes it even stranger is 99% of his writing is still pretty good with quality values. Its hard to find yourself agreeing with someone on so many things then BAM the thing you disagree on is reprehensible

I just remembered last week that technically I saw him live in 1999 and completely forgot. I was 12 and it was my first concert and it was on a ski mountain. Still forgot about it for 25 years!

If a herbivore charges then run. The first charge or two are mock charges to scare you off. Predators never turn your back to unless you have distance.
