Several. One of the big problems is that when I moved 2 years ago I didn't obtain a PCP, and kind of ignored that I had an attack in 2019. I thought I could skate on keeping my diet and exercise the same, but my meds needed adjustment and I never knew because...head in sand. 😬

Thanks. They were surprised because I knew what was happening, hopped on the bus and got from home to the hospital in 19 minutes.
Ambulance would have taken longer...

They had me in the cath lab right away. They cleaned up the two stents I got 6 years ago and added another.

Whatever is said about Harlan, the man had a hell of a work ethic. Imagine choosing authorship as a vocation, waking up and looking at your bills and calculating how many words you need to write that day to keep your rent paid and eat for the week...then banging them out!

I'm lucky in that, as a kid in San Diego we had a great little arthouse theater called "The Ken", which did things like Kurosawa Week.
