I swear, Boris von Douchenov- I mean Putin couldn't have dreamed of a better place for the U.S. to end up with regards to its relations with Europe, and that's all thanks to Ronald Chump. I feel for President Zelenskyy - I can't imagine the stress of being a president during a war where you're...

Does anyone know if there's a logical or practical reason for why SO MANY adaptation movies have either the characters entering our world, or real people entering their world? It happened with Fat Albert, Sonic, the Minecraft movie, and the Smurfs, to name four, and I find it incredibly unoriginal.

I love being able to say "I told you so" to society as a whole, or at least the people who thought AI would be the greatest thing ever until it massively inconvenienced their lives. I felt like it was asking for trouble from the start (and not just for Skynet reasons), and I was proven right.

Apparently applying stove polish to a cosplay piece wrapped in vinyl, for the sake of darkening and weathering the piece in question to make it consistent with the armor it's worn with, makes it smell like pee, which is the opposite of ideal for a piece worn over one's lower abdomen and crotch.

The fact that I created 13 seconds' worth of animated footage for the next El Cheapo episode in the span of three days makes me proud of myself, but also because it makes me realize just how much work goes into this, especially if you're a single person animating the whole thing.

Also, what makes this even more absurd is that I made an account to get benefits from orders I place, which I did because I saw a commercial advertising the emergency pizza program, and said commercial shows a delivery guy bringing in a pizza, which is extremely misleading, to say the least.

Dear @dominos-pizza.bsky.social, What the hell is the point of giving customers an "emergency pizza" for free, if my local Domino's has a minimum price requirement of $15 (aka the cost of the free pizza) for delivery? Yours sincerely, - Logic

NGL, I think I just experienced my very first earthquake just now. I didn't even think my state could get any.

I love #TTRPGs, if for no other reason than the comedy. A PC in a game I had tonight is absolutely violent and crazy, and spent 95% of the session locked in the trunk of a car for everyone else's safety. I also remarked that if my PC wasn't so nice, she'd give him a Dutch oven to shut him up.

I shared this (albeit an outdated version) on my Instagram, but I figured I'd share it here. An animation I did of a (kinda-sorta) OC of mine, who I've played in a few different TTRPG campaigns. #animation #animated #animationart #fallout #falloutanimation #falloutfanart #falloutrpg #falloutttrpg

While on the subject of the latter film, we need to normalize fans of a franchise being the ones to write it. Ridley Scott only cared about making what he thought was interesting. Fede Alvarez wrote Romulus, genuinely loves the series, and you can tell totally just by the consistency of the writing.

I find it interesting that if there's something the 2020s have done right, it's actually making good movies in preexisting franchises. I've had major disdain towards 21st century films in general, but between Prey, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, and now Alien: Romulus, my tune has changed.

Winter in the north positively SUCKS - first it snows, and then it rains, turning the snow into treacherous-as-all-fuck ice. And it does this for approximately three to four months.

Y’know, I think the issue with bullies not really getting what they deserve in specials like Rudolph is the reason I like darker Christmas movies: if there’s a character who acts malicious, then odds are they’re going to get their ass kicked at worst and die a brutal and memorable death at best.

Now that it's December, can I ask if we're all in agreement that Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is the WORST Christmas special out there? It's bleak as fuck since it glorifies bullying, and also because the only reason Rudolph is accepted is he suddenly became useful, rather than Santa and...

Lay's BBQ chips are fucking GREAT, and I feel horrible about the fact that it took me so long to find that out. Of course, were it not for a line in Total Drama giving me a little nudge to try them, I wouldn't have found out that I liked BBQ chips in general, but Lay's chips are fantastic.

In other news, I completely, truly lost what little appreciation I had for Google's AI Overview. There are some things that I can understand AI getting a bit confused with, but something as universally acknowledged and abundant in information as continents and what countries are on them... yeah, no.

I'm very glad to hear this, especially because I didn't even know there WAS a monthly account fee.

I haven't seen much Scooby Doo stuff, but of what I have seen, there's a question lingering in my mind: what functional purpose does Daphne serve? Fred comes up with plans. Velma is the brains of the operation. Scooby and Shaggy are bait (speaking of, you'd think they'd eventually get sick of it).

I was in a situation just now that really reminded me of how much I miss my paternal grandmother. Only in the last instance I saw her in person did we really strike up any sort of connection, but it was more of a connection than I've had with most people in my life, at least at the time it happened.

I wound up picking up a new #TTRPG today, for the first time in three years: the Fallout RPG. I'm not sure where my overwhelming desire to grab this game came from, but it compelled me to buy this book and one of the supplements, because it looks great and one of my friends is running Fallout soon.

I can't believe I had to deactivate my Threads account *again*. In addition to being yet another anti-social media platform, I was proven once more that it's just a cesspool of sexism (towards both men and women, mind you) and intolerance. I can't even imagine how bad it is now, post-election.

Yesterday was one of the most significant days of my entire life - namely, it was the day that I finally released the first episode of an #animated project I've worked on at various stages for the past eight years. This is the first episode of my show, El Cheapo. Please enjoy. youtu.be/7ILAZVkNiE0

Also, is there any kind of community for #animation and #TTRPGs? Throughout my time on social media, particularly during a rather substantial shift in both career and interests, I'm surrounded by writers, which isn't a bad thing (and many are good friends), though I definitely want to make more...

Allow me to share a glimpse into what I've been working on for the past eight years, which is so incredibly close to achieving completion and release of its first episode. This is the trailer for my animated series, El Cheapo. I can't wait to share these three oddballs' (mis)adventures with you.

See, THIS is the kind of thing I would actually want to see MrBeast regularly putting out. Just seeing that gave me a modicum of appreciation for the guy, more than all of the stupid "Survive a week in a grocery store" this, and "I ate a bajillion trillion million dollar pizza" that, garbage.
