the constitution says you must be 35 to be eligible to serve as president. now, let’s say a presidential nominee was born on february 29, 1972, a leap year. and let’s say they were running in 2024. now, technically, they would only be 13. you could say they were ineligible. but that’s stupid! (1)

I was stuck somewhere with a TV stuck on Fox News. 15 minutes of silent footage of a plane full of migrants sent back to Caracas. The camera stayed fixed on the plane where nothing was happening. Someone finally explained they were waiting to watch the migrants walk off. Cruelty porn.

I consistently remind people about NY politics when they talk about other states. NY politic is rancid. The governor is pathetic, the Mayor of NYC is a corrupt cop, etc... No one in this state should ever open their mouth to talk about other people in other states re: political leadership.
