If they’re going to charge municipal officials with assault for requesting to see a warrant, I don’t see the benefit of ensuring all anti-ICE actions are orderly or “peaceful.” You can be an elected official calmly invoking procedural norms, they don’t care.

Getting kinda pissed at the "due process" people who think the immigration courts are anything but theater. Infants and toddlers had their hearings without representation on a regular basis.
