My understanding is that so far it’s been employees on probation, because they’re easiest to fire. Unfortunately that means both new employees and long-time employees who’ve been promoted/changed positions within the last year or two. Loyalty isn’t a factor yet for most firings

We have to go from OR to SoCal so I was looking at a sleeper car for our family. Cost wasn’t terrible given that they feed you, but then I saw it would be 30 hours in a 9x13 room with a toddler… flight is 2 hours. Might still try it but we desperately need high speed rail

I feel like we need some sort of symbolic boycott buddy system for the people who want to but literally don’t have any other options. You can’t boycott a monopoly. These types of places are also sometimes the best place for people with allergies/special diets to shop and it sucks
