I fucking love Canadians and have multiple Canadian friends. It pains me that our closest and oldest ally feels the need to convince us not to want to invade them.
Sickening honestly. We live in dark times.

I'm sorry but like... Duh
He already pardoned the January 6th insurrectionists. He's made his stance here clear.

Rfk being voted in is an existential threat to our country. It might be the worst thing that's happened so far.
He says the polio vaccine killed more than it saved. It's one of the most significant scientific breakthroughs of human history, not patented for the good of humanity.
We squander that

He wants to ban the goddamn polio vaccine, saying it claimed more lives than it saved.
This is the worst possible fucking guy to be in charge of this. The banning of vaccines is an existential threat to life itself.
Fucking scum. And nobody is doing shit about it.

As JFK once said, "those who make peaceful revolution impossible make violent revolution inevitable"
We're at a point where we have to think on our previous president's wisdom.

And this dipshit is in charge of our "health and human services" when he has no interest in either.
Words can not express how much disdain I have for this. Things have been fucked up but with the inability of opposition to stop trump's cronies, this will be a fucking massacre.

He said the polio vaccine took more lives than it saved. One of the most important medical miracles in human history is less than nothing to him. He's talked about banning it.
These are children with polio. Their agencies and lives taken from them, living in constant pain, unable to even breathe.

Animals are such an amazing way to connect and destress in difficult times. So pure, innocent, and loving.

What happened to reducing inflation day one? Can't blame Biden, trump promised he could do something he couldn't do, and in fact made it worse. But what else is new.

Kid would do less damage that's for damn sure.

Could be classified as "free range" too if there's a small portion of it outside. Just disgusting.

Gotta pace yourself on the anger. Lots more to be angry about in the future.

I'm in a red state and went to a protest that ended up with over 1000 people. Having that big a crowd marching through the city yelling "fuck donald trump" and "fuck elon musk" was uplifting.

I don't know why you did this, but it brought me a lot of joy.

Problem with moving as fast as they are is that it'll be damn near impossible to defend in court. They barely know what they actually did.

Go to protests if you can, been to 3 so far. Bigger each time too.

Not even counting the 100+ million people watching at home saying it too. It was one of the most popular songs of the year, won a Grammy. They're so mad lol

Oh for sure. I wasn't wasting time replying to that guy with the human good it does, it didn't seem to matter to him. I think it's the most important part personally.
But even in a purely self interested way it's extremely important.

It provides soft power and good press on the world stage so people are more likely to work with us. It makes defensive, financial, and influential sense.
Disbanding the department will weaken us and allow China to take over our spot, expanding their influence.
Even selfishly this is a bad idea.

It doesn't seem worth the effort to get mad at someone who is well meaning and isn't actively trying to ruin the lives of me and everyone I care about.
I drive by dozens of trump flags daily, I'm focused on that kind of person.
But I've said my piece, you do you, take care of yourself.

Just seemed supportive to me but I can see your point.
Don't burn yourself out on this kind of stuff though, there's bigger fish and you gotta take care of yourself.

Nah like would you rather she not report on this? Isn't getting the message out there important?
I guess I'm just not sure what the issue is here. Genuinely trying to understand, not tryna be combative here.

Starlink is owned by musk, musk had interns of his install servers in the department of finance.
We don't trust that if they "just came to fix the Internet" that they aren't also putting data collection and surveillance in place for doge.

Agree heavily. Let us vote for the people who run the institutions that distribute our wealth to provide services for us.
It's not perfect but it is the best we've come up with as far as I've seen.
Rich people shouldn't be able to subvert that structure.
