I know, right? Sent the worst shiver down my spine.

"DEVO's Josh Hager", yeah, that explains a lot.

I was expecting Vai, but maybe that one is too famous or obvious. You got a solid pick.

Hay is for horse-men, toats my goats.... or something like that. Here's another ❤️ and comment to encourage posting here.

Well, there were certain some choices made in this build. Not choices a lot that I would make, but I do like recessed strap locks :-P This definitely belongs here.

Now that this is out in the universe, I cannot unsee it.

Another slice of fried gold, Uncle Ben. Much thanks!

Top horn being shorter almost makes it look like a lefty. This is way outside what I normally go for (I like black pointy guitars that go chugga-chugga-chugga), but I have to admit I like this one.

It's weird... It's like... it's almost ugly enough to be interesting, but not quite there.

Looks like the same result you get from the dog digging under the fence into the neighbors yard. What a mutt!

For a humor less bitch, that's pretty funny ;-)

Soooooooo.... don't... yell...

Look who just got back today \m/ Really nice arrangement and playing.

I think they have to be. There's just 6 buttons. I have to admit, those threw me off too.

Winger got clowned on a lot, but Reb Beach was, and still is, and absolutely AMAZING musician. I don't feel like he got got the recognition his talent deserved. Just another example of how The Music Industry is not a meritocracy. Also, I dig this guitar. Right up my alley.

\m/ Hell yea! Big fan of George Lynch! This speaks to my inner Teenage Edge Lord, who was running show just about the time Lynch was playing this guitar.
comment in response to post
Yep, that one belongs here. I'd ❤️ it twice if BlueSky would let me.

Mike needs some more Punk Rock in his life. I love me some Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, but sometimes it's more about the passion and fury than the skill. There's room for both. Go turn up up the amp (don't get tinnitus) and bang of some power chords.

I, for one, think they really missed a bet not doing a bundle deal with a Makita drill. Get those cross-promotion dollars :-D On a side note, I really need a HOT PINK! guitar. Should have grabbed a San Dimas Pro Mod when Charvel was still painting them that color... missed opportunity.

Do you want to get retired? Because that's how you get retired.

There have a been few variations of this idea: A sound whole on the "top" of the guitar, pointed at the player. I've never seen one IRL, but I'd love the opportunity to play one!

"If it sounds good, it is good" I'm sure I got that from some YouTuber. Maybe Adam Neely or Rick Beato? It's good advice, whoever said it first. If you like the song and the lyrics "speak" to you, that's what matters.
comment in response to post
Yep! This belongs here. I would LOVE the opportunity to play that. I'm not sure if I'd enjoy it or not, but I'd like to find out :-D

I'll have you know Randy Rhodes made polka dots cool 😜

Really? We're calling a Nightswan weird? I love your feed, but this one's s stretch ;-)

Kind of looks like the 66 Batmobile took a couple of puffs to take the edge off.

Love the old "Chunky Monkey".

Oooooooooooo... this one is lovely.

Happy birthday and many happy returns!

Aaaaaahhhhhhhhh... GIFs don't work? Bummer :-( I'm leaving it, I just won't do it again.

Okay, two things: Hell! Yeah!

Tough call. Leading contenders are Metallica's "Orion" or John William's "The Imperial March (Dark Vader's Theme)". Maybe something from Nine Inch Nails?

Turn it up!

Most of the ones who jumped immediately to mind were already mentioned: Geddy Lee, Bob Dylan, and Tom Waits. I'm surprised that Little Richard, Elvis Presley, and Ozzy Osbourne haven't been listed yet. Maybe I scrolled past them? I'd never mistake anyone for or with David Lee Roth or Bing Crosby.

Thank you so much. I hate it 😆

Alright, Peavey Mantis was 1985 (might even be earlier) and the Jackson Kelly Star was 2000. So the Kelly Star is a Mantis Extreme 🤷‍♂️
comment in response to post
I did too!

I do love pointy guitars. However, this looks like a Jackson Kelly Star Light. Go BIG or go home :-P I wonder which one hit the market first... might look into that.

You know what? I kind of like this one.

Haven't got this one yet, but it's on the short list.

One of my favorites off "Stained". Sounds great! What you got? Artistry!

I always loved the first edition of Pathfinder, and I'm happy to continue supporting the system with the ORC license.

I'm not entirely sure that this is what the sound engineer meant by "more bottom end".

Right here! \m/
comment in response to post
Right? Looks more like an Ibanez or a Dean than a Guild guitar.

Just checked out "Bail Out" and "Fear & Cowardice" on YouTube. Hell yeah! Excellent suggestion. I'll be digging through the rest of their catalogue. Thanks so much for the suggestion! \m/

Wooooo Hooooooo! Great playing! Thanks for sharing.

Too long ago :-P but I've got some NYXLs in the box on stand by when I got to it,

Tough call, but I'm going with "Blitzkrieg".
