Nope. Not bleak enough, in my opinion.

This is for general consumption, and to hold on to their investors. They know the real truth, this is going to be much, much worse. There is no silver lining. Since most people have never experienced a long term economic decline/bear market, they are not prepared for it. Especially psychologically.

Believe it or not, they'll miss those burly Canadian guys in their Speedos! I spent many years in the restaurant business in the seacoast NH and seacoast Maine areas; and it's yet another blow to small businesses there.

It's such a lovely venue. I lived in Portsmouth for many years, arriving in the late70's; and saw many great shows and movies at the Music Hall. Portsmouth is still a lovely town, but it's become unaffordable for most people. I moved away because I'm too old to move that much snow and ice every year

Some of the legendary investors of our time are using any market strength to sell and raise cash. Reminds me of the old saying "if you are buying when they are selling, a cardboard box will be your dwelling."

Add to this the concerted effort to crush the dollar, which will amplify the costs to the American people of the tariffs on imported goods. They want a lower dollar to claim a future "decrease" of the deficit; as well as to artificially boost the value of cryptocurrencies.

VMI was as a place that trained slave patrols in the 19th century; so unfortunately no real surprise.

I would, and would ask each of my colleagues, to bring along a recently fired federal worker; and make sure that each of their stories get press coverage. Keep it simple and clear, one story at a time.

Increased attack on the Fed will follow. Long time successful investors have been raising cash/selling equities for months. They know what's coming.

It's why my mom used to say, "There's a good reason why you have two ears and only one mouth, You should listen twice as much as you talk." The best salespeople are the best listeners.

I did some food shopping today here in Baltimore, and the cheapest eggs that they had were $5.59. Ironically, they were the organic/free range ones. Also, if you're so inclined, you can scramble eggs in small batches and freeze them. Ice trays or silicone muffin pans work well. Thaw in the fridge.

The price of a barrel of oil has dropped over $4/bbl. in the last 5 days. The grift indeed! State AGs better get on this.

Break up the food monopolies!!! I am very disappointed that the Biden Admin. did nothing about this. It does not have to be done via legislation, but through various government agencies(like putting the kibosh on the Kroger/Albertson's merger). No chance at all now.

Within a year or so of inauguration, the cabinet applies the 25th Amendment, and removes Trump from office. It's a shock because who would have believed that these dicks would use a Trojan.

Bad Sisters on Apple TV+. It takes a little bit to get used to the accents, but one of the best and funniest shows that I've seen in years. And yes, it involves a murder.

As a 71 year old man, I like it. It's taken a long time to develop this patina.
