Made me so mad because the Joker is still right! One Bad Day did break him! It made him this calloused, repressed version of himself that can't even be recognized by the very person who's memory he's trying to keep from staining.

I'm a Jason Stan first and a human second so you already know where this is going, but Bruce so often uses his self-rightiousness in refraining to kill the Joker, and it's so often brought back to not wanting the Joker to be right. The more I thought about Bruce not wanting to give up that line
