Do you really think porn addictions are right wing propaganda? You literally said that you can be addicted to anything earlier, why not porn? Why not something so freely available on the internet for impressionable kids; free to watch. If kids can be groomed, then they can later suffer from porn.

Porn isn't played on TV and if it is, it's done late at night. Porn has special classifications to separate it from movies and tv shows, and it is never hardcore. They are different, hence why we talk about them differently from porn. Its why we openly discuss tv shows with kids.

Puritans would hurt you for watching porn, all I'm asking is that you take porn addiction seriously. Your addictions dont just disappear with your views on sex, they disappear with you actively fighting the addiction. You don't just change your perspective on alcohol to remove your alcoholism.

Not really what I meant, there's a reason why kids are shown tv shows and never porn. TV shows are not like porn. Porn intercepts your thinking, it rewires the mind. Porn is fun until it becomes addictive, something you want to deny exists, then it to keeps fueling your addiction.

What else is it used for? It's rarely it's own thing, it's to sexually satisfy yourself with a depiction of sex. It takes advantage of lonely, desperate people who aren't having regular sex. Look at the advertisements 'n the people who use porn. Not puritan, just worried about others being addicted.

I'd never want porn banned, I just don't like that you're saying it's not addictive. I'm big on legalising weed but I'd never deny that weed can be addictive and harm relationships and people's personal lives. People aren't black and white, I don't need to hate women to admit that porn is harmful.

My point is that youre comparing tv shows to porn, one is enjoyed by kids while the other is used to substitute something that gives us a large surges in dopamine. It gives you unhealthy urges, and often negatively impacts your real sexual urges because porn is artificial and easily accessible.

You're forgetting that porn often locks women into contracts and exploits them. Sex work isn't evil but porn is. The people who try to ban porn are stupid but to say that "porn isn't addictive" is a very ignorant statement

Isn't that like saying, "you're addicted to playing games, not gambling"? Porn is definitely more detrimental to the mind than tv shows because it triggers the same parts of your brain as sex. Porn is a cheap substitution for sex which can be harmful.

Porn addiction is definitely concerning however because of how easy it is to access it especially at a young and impressionable age. It rewires your brain and makes you have an unrealistic perception of sex and women. You need to struggle with it to know how bad it can get.

The majority of Asian, Hispanic, and LGBTQ+ voters, voted for Harris. Which is why it's sad watching liberals celebrate stuff like this, I've even seen slurs and dog whistles being thrown around.
