That is so amazing. Yes, monitors and phones can display the animations. But it must be incredibly validating and satisfying to see your animations sort of made physical through dedicated hardware.

ABU has those PeekABU pins with the characters. I think it's a subtle enough thing where to someone else, it just looks like a vaguely furry character peeking over an edge.

I tried using a more "loose" approach to my lineart this time. The results are kind of interesting. I feel like I still have a lot to learn, especially for anatomy. Anastasia's hands are awful and the proportions still look off to me.

I love it when the process of regression takes away the victim’s ability to resist. A classic example would be the loss of their knowledge of numbers making them unable to imagine their age being higher than 5, or 10 if they’re really clever and use both hands.

The daycare scenario is one I absolutely adore. Even better when the caregiver becomes smaller than the other kids who now suddenly seem so smart and mature and start looking after the caregiver.

ABU SDK for aesthetics and nostalgia. I am so happy they exist. LittlePawz for feel. PeekABU for capacity.

I'd love to see those! Thanks!

But yeah, I hope clinical trials will show this works in humans too. I remember reading somewhere that nasal flu vaccines in general have this extra benefit of blocking transmission compared to intramuscular vaccines which only help with disease response. Makes sense it that it works for covid too.

Having only read the abstract so far. I didn't even know hamsters were a model organism for Covid research. A postdoc told me ferrets were used for flu research. I guess hamsters are more social which makes them useful to investigate transmission.

I haven’t uploaded anything here yet (all still on the bird place) and haven’t drawn in a while. But I’d love some feedback, mentorship or any kind of comment you’d be willing to provide for my next drawings? I’ve been noting down padded picture ideas in a notebook that have to be drawn. 😅

It’s the PC running windows XP connected to that (I’m guessing) mass spectrometer that gets me. XD We used to have an old absorption meter that was connected to a Windows 98 PC running software that must have been from the DOS days. Max file name length was 8 characters. XD

Right? Bubbles drew her a few times but I almost didn’t recognize her this time.

Oh gosh, that is unbearably cute!

I love this design! The outfit works so well with the character. ❤️

This is so adorable! I feel like there was an intermediate step where she must have been finger painting on the walls. XD

The fact that I can see this working both amuses me and saddens me…

Not to be entirely negative. If it's something you want and she is willing, why not? Personally, I wish I had parents that supportive. But make sure she is willing to respect your boundaries, just like with any other personal topic.

But would you comfortable if she started buying you a pacifier for Christmas? If not, would she be the kind of person who could know this about you and do nothing? Like: "Thanks for telling me. I'm happy to know. I won't act any different." Some parents want to get more or less involved.
comment in response to post
Ultimately, it will always be a case-by-case decision and you need to think about the kind of relationship you have with your mum, and also how "involved" do you (and does she) want to be?
comment in response to post
If she's pushy to get in, might she not be pushy to "stay" in? Even if we love our parents, there are some places where we would rather not have them. And once you let them in, they can bring it up whenever they want.
comment in response to post
It depends on the kind of relationship you have. Have you opened up to other things in the past? How did she take then? What worries me is that she being "very pushy" about it. I think it would be better if she also respected your right to a private sphere. I think that's important.

I think that’s normal. ABDL is ultimately a form of role play. Looking after an adult pretending to be little involves a different skill set than looking after actual children. It’s like playing a doctor on TV vs actually being one. There are those good at both. But not one because of the other.

Super cute. I particularly like the fluffy cheeks and muzzle design of the yellow shirt one.

Wow, you certainly got diaper-making down to a science. I feel like you need to rename that faint rectangle to the Acquisition, Buffering, and Distribution Layer, for bonus points. 😜

As opposed to costing €34,50 at the store? 🤣

What inspired your comic book art style?

“Era appropriate clothing for little boys.” Sorry time traveller, my cultural sensitivities time travelled with me and my sonic screwdriver very much registers that as a very Pink Dress.

Not many changes to suggest. Only seeing this for the first time and I love it. The whole form rebel column felt kind of sketchy but the bedsheets at the end are unexpectedly wholesome and thus feel like a punchline and I love it.

Such a cute idea. ❤️ If you make enough pictures to cover the whole fridge and all the walls, you get to call it a mural.

It’s one of my favourites. Joff Bush’s adaptation of Holst’s Jupiter brings a degree of emotional power and majesty that is somehow comically out of place yet incredibly appropriate for the story of a little girl going to sleep. Heartwarming, funny, and cosy, certainly a top 10 episode.

Honestly, after they named one of the human homologs of Drosophila Hedgehog “Sonic Hedgehog,” nothing really surprises me anymore. 😆

Thanks! I’ll check that out. Not to turn this into an exchange thread (though I’d have no objection if others also posted their favourite stories here), but here’s my favourite with the regressing daycare worker premise. ararchive.com/chapter/2476
