🤭 haha, no need to apologize! I was just poking a bit of fun, though I do think it's super useful for others. Personally I never had a Kindle and I'm still using a Sony pocketbook reader nearly 20 years later (on the same battery) :)

Preach! And ... by preach I mean, make (or link to) a distributable tutorial that people who use Kindles can follow 🤭

Wow... they really... booleaned out that square! :D

In the center you can see the comet they were observing, but if you zoom in enough, depending on the screen, you will see essentially a grid through the entire image. It's really created by all the satellite and micro satellite constellations passing by, obscuring and/or interfering with the image.

What do you mean... released? The doors are wide open, don't tell me that thing with stealth feathers and night vision can't see them as it flies right by them. Hoot-hoot clearly *wanted* to be there! :D

Hell yeah 🤣 Oh no, no, this was just Wednesday, had too much work in between 😂😂😂 but you're welcome, and thanks! :)

... just posted so it's 'like a week' :D but I'll finish it on weekend, and then put the files online for everyone who wants it :) I don't think it's cool selling plans for a copyrighted iconic design. :) It'll need at least three screws, but I'll be sure to provide a BOM and instructions :)

Neither :D I went a bit overboard, so, my printer claims it will take 3 solid days of printing to get this done, and since I'm not set up for it, this is far too much faff that I couldn't charge anyone for. I'm also not done, the cockpit needs a touchup, and battery boxes need to be attached ...

<SPOILERS> Wdym none of them :D Geordy's a Commodore and has a family, like Riker and Troy, Worf went on Worfing, Data blew up but shrugged it off, and Picard & Crusher got to relive the Wrath of Khan in 4K the way Marcus and Kirk wished they could.

I mean ... they've taken their sweet time, i.e. two seasons to both figuratively and pretty literally assassinate the character of Picard so... I hear you... though I'm not sure what you mean since I feel like she just unlocked the rogue branch of the skill tree over the years :D

And if it's because you watched the first two seasons, nobody can honestly blame you for holding that opinion! :D It's not a *good* season of Trek. The resolution does not hold up to a slight whiff of scrutiny, and it is blatant nostalgia bait. Despite it, it's the most watchable New Trek of all

I thought it might be that, but yeah, quite unlikely. And if they do, they'd break at the point of a big change in temperature, i.e. pouring the hot coffee in. (I heated up a 30-40 year old pyrex bowl on a ceramic top for the nth time when it disintegrated) So, it's prett safe :)

I love that Osaka basically went "well it can't be the seedy underbelly if it looks like the land of Oz"

As someone with genuine stacks of sheets of paper with drawings, including full interactive comics (assets), and boxes full of components I 3D printed, I find it somewhat emotionally and volumetrically burdening. I rented a garage just to store stuff I'm not currently working on, to reduce clutter.

Man, what I wouldn't give to have something like Everything (the indexing service) for real life! :D

Not gonna lie, I thought it was A.I. too. Genuinely thank you for posting the other ones. I think there might be a growing resentment for A.I. imagery and just as a lot of people would believe a lot of A.I. imagery at first glance, people protest ones that look like they could be A.I.. Thanks again!

Huh. Imagine that. "Meanwhile", Fox attacked people knitting Jayne hats on Etsy!

Actually that would be collagen (I think; a proper M.D., with a particular taste, pun absolutely intended, in comics, might have to chime in on this one). This is more like what you'd squeeze out of an oil filter.

You should stop, correct. :) But because I'm a complete stranger you have no reason to take at face value, here's a cool video about a master illustrator to help grind in just how much time was put into getting to their level of skill. :) www.youtube.com/watch?v=aoqu...

omg, I forgot about that! Yes! <3 :D And that was from a time when 'nobody' knew what scramjets were. The production design people did some serious homework. But I remember the controls inside made no sense when they showed them acting :D

Ah, the SA-43 Endo-Exo Trans-atmospheric Attack Jet.... I love that they built a 1:1 model of it... And that animations show reaction control thrusters firing properly when in space :D

In retrospect, there was no way I was gonna just leave it like that :D Used a screenshot from Stellarium for the stars, and reference for the Moon tilt. It was set to 27th November 2024, 'shot' from the Northern hemisphere. Space is amazing, we should get to know our celestial neighbourhood! :D :D
