It is puzzling that suddenly since he's been in office that the number of crashes has risen significantly. If DEI was the cause for all these crashes, wouldn't they have been already happening? I mean, it had been nearly a decade since the last big crash, right?

He was central to my sermon on Sunday. It was meant to be about our stewardship campaign, but I got sidetracked by seeing memories from the 50th anniversary march 10 years ago.

Honestly, the best response would be for Georgetown Law to explain that diversity, equity, and inclusion are values promoted by Catholic teaching, and they don't appreciate the U.S. attorney demanding they eliminate their religious principles from their curriculum. His head would explode.

The heart means “sending love.” Hope the chemo isn’t too awful.

A fun fact: the phrase "of the people, by the people, for the people" was taken from one of Unitarian Theodore Parker's sermons. Parker said "of all the people," etc. One of Lincoln's advisors was a fan of Parker's work.

Love Chicago. Lived there on and off for 12 years. Still miss it sometimes even after more than 30 years.

I grew up in a duplex in a neighborhood that only had 3 or 4 single occupancy houses outside of Washington, DC. All white when we moved in in the early ‘60’s, now diverse. Safe then and now. NBD.
