Great article, Aaron! I am a part of the silent group of online people that see what you do and are grateful that you lead with kindness. I hope (and believe) that group is the majority. Loved the bit about making mistakes here and there– keep being you! ❤️

That’s exciting! As a web dev, I’ve always wondered what exploring the iOS ecosystem would be like Hope you have a blast!

My dad started doing this for little stuff around the house – such a cool skill/hobby to have!

Everyone uses it differently, but I don’t use the chat feature thing (only the inline autocomplete) It’s been particularly nice for decoders and reorganizing things (let/in, if/case, pipelines/parens)

Recently started using Cursor daily at work to write Elm things – I had a bad time with CoPilot+VScode–but Cursor is the first time I’ve used AI based autocomplete and it’s been productive 😅

Does this mean a new elm-review release AND jeroen rolls his own Elm-powered blog in one day?? 🥳

Agreed– I’d rather see a README omit information than provide bad information! It’s like "Lying is better than Saying Nothing" 😂

If you have a solid understanding of how things work, feel free to stick with your code! I’ll be working on an Elm Land update that simplifies things a bit, so it might be better to wait for 1.0 🌈

I am grateful for folks like you exploring the boundaries of editor productivity 😎 I’ve had a few "wow that was cool!" moments, but nothing big enough for me to make the daily switch (yet!)

Great article, Louis! ❤️ It takes a lot of discipline to make a language like Gleam– I’m happy for what you and the community have built together!

Update: I absolutely loved it! 😍 Incredibly polished for a game by such a small team– that kind of quality takes a lot of effort!! (Also big shout-out to @advancenine.bsky.social, I didn’t know you were on here 😅)

I just had to search "one day lead to my arrest" on Twitter to make sure I wasn’t going crazy 😂 May the 4th be with you iykyk

If I wanted to get good at prolog, do you have any learning resource recommendations? I’ve played with it and really enjoyed the style– but had a hard time finding the best way to use it in 2024

Gleam is so nice – really love the vibe and design! 🌟 It’s on my list of languages to make a backend web server with so I can say I made a real thing with it!

Dude Odin looks so cool– just watched @rtfeldman.bsky.social's talk on the Return of Procedural languages and it made me want to explore Zig, C, and Odin some more
