We've had 11 cats in our long lives, but none of them has slept on his/her back. I think it's so cute. Only one of our cats pushed things off of counter tops. Only one unrolled toilet paper. We must be doing something wrong.

I have tears in my eyes for both you and your wife and for Ted. I'm 80yo and have lost 9 pets. Each one hurts. It's been my anecdotal observation that pets don't live as long as they did in the 70's. I blame capitalism because nobody really knows what's in their food.
