I agree they could have used the original artwork, but the Night Watch cover was Paul Kidby’s work and a parody of the new artwork, so it’s all circular. Josh, who died before the book’s publication, was painted into the scene in the ‘Rembrandt’ spot by way of tribute.

That is correct. Word order is also different so the ‘sw’ bit is usually at the front of the name. Anglesey Sea Zoo becomes Sw Môr Môn for example.
