Slides didn't address the internal perception of WINFS. Internal politics are one thing, but support from ICs was nonexistent because it was not trusted/understood/believed-in.
The perception (as I recall) was that WINFS was a random, optional feature strapped onto the filesystem.

My mom took me to a children's theater performance of the count of Monte Cristo and I *engaged* with that story.
I bought the book.
I read it.
I spent the rest of my childhood indulging in elaborate revenge fantasies involving my perceived oppressors.
Potentially lifesaving. :)

Rogue, the original rogue-like. :) You can still play it on Steam or online, it still holds up.... and I have never managed to retrieve the Amulet of Yandor. Build stats, collect armor, rings and weapons. Stay fed. Fight the alphabet of monsters.
(I also like newer rogue-likes -- Hades is amazing)

Is it safer to do this with -t 1? iirc, -t 0 tells shutdown.exe to do an emergency shutdown, while -t 1 allows for something gentler...
