She was a very good girl 😢❤️ Goodbye to Kiera

Oooh, shiny…

It’s Sunday, time to blaspheme

Repost with the first album you bought with your own money

Thread to remind you what really happens in disasters as opposed to what you fear happens…

Strolling by an alligator and friend. An excellent way to not focus on the urge to comment on politics.

Egg shopping in Trump’s American (taken a few minutes ago, about 10 miles from Mar a Lago)

Now we have grounds for war

These pictures keep me from posting about political chaos which is pretty unproductive at this stage

Alligators, presumably post coitus 🤫

Studiously ignoring the humans and dogs…

Finally, a gator large enough and positioned in a way to make me reroute

Shit posting aside, keep warm and safe

Sorry for your snowstorms 😎

I post lots about alt text as disability justice. You should use it on all images and enable the “require alt text” setting. But if your username uses a fancy font, is full of emojis, or has other tedium for screen readers, all your posts are inaccessible, even if you use alt text. Listen to it:

Side eye

Goth Christmas ornaments

Wood stork slumming with Muscovy ducks

Black vultures channeling their inner Anhinga

BlueSky is trying to monetize so let's show them some numbers: Reskeet this if you refuse to pay for BlueSky+ until trust & safety decides to prioritize marginalized users. That's $96 / year of lost revenue for each reskeet...

I’ve finally started to come out of social media hiatus. Pleased to see lots more folks that disappeared from Twitter active over here now. Likely I’ll mostly sit in the corner and eat popcorn but even with growing pains this feels friendlier.

Usually these don’t ignore me this hard (taken on an iPhone)

Sometimes alligators are unimpressed in groups

Typical response to a human - do nothing

Usually the easiest wildlife photo subject because they seldom move.

A somber announcement - today the US Fish and Wildlife Services is proposing to list the monarch butterfly as threatened under the Endangered Species Act. It may become the 100th insect to be listed. Populations of millions of monarchs have declined 80-95% recently. #虫 www.fws.gov/press-releas...
