Isn’t there also a question of where the liability lies? My understanding is that it’s the GP’s medical indemnity insurance that has to cover PAs decisions as, in theory, the GP signs off on the PAs decisions? Please clarify if I’ve got this wrong.

If you could take the fourteen years of everything that happened and we experienced under the Tory government, slowly concentrated it down then drew it up into a syringe and injected it into someone, you’d have made Liz Truss.

The introduction of PAs is something borrowed from the US. Over there, it is very transparent and everyone knows when they are seeing one. They have a role and can be useful with the right experience.
It’s their opaque use here as an obvious cost saving exercise that is frightening and dangerous.

I did find that it was easier to get a little bit of engagement on Threads compared to screaming into the abyss on Twitter. Hopefully Bluesky will be nicer too.

Funny, I know the world is drawn to Instagram but the introvert in me finds it’s difficult to share stuff. 🤷🏻♂️

I wish the rest of the speculative investment market offerings were quite so blatantly obivious.
