🇺🇸🇺🇦❗️I don't even recognize $100 billion, we agreed with Biden that this is a grant! A grant is not a debt, - Zelensky

This proposed mineral deal with Ukraine is outright extortion. Trump isn’t offering protection for Ukraine and it will of course be rejected (as it should be). I imagine Trump will then blame Ukraine for not being willing to negotiate and walk away. He may also walk away from NATO at the same time

"Insane Russians": 267 drones flew across Ukraine today, - Zelensky on the night attack "How do American partners say 'we see that the Russians want the war to end' - 267 drones are launched by a person who wants the war to end?"

Kinda destroys the whole dictator attack on Zelensky 😂

You know, J.D. Vance wasn't there to inform the defenders of Kyiv in 2022 that Ukraine couldn’t win, so they fought bravely and fiercely and eventually defeated the Russian onslaught to take the Ukrainan capital, thus totally derailing Putin's blitzkrieg.

Zelenskyy emphasized that the country will sign only an agreement that is beneficial to both the United States and the Ukrainian people. He also stressed the need for clearly defined security guarantees in the agreement, as they will provide the foundation for a stable partnership and development.

I had not realised they had done this, this is not good at all. I've looked into HB to see what would happen if we could no longer afford rent. They expect you to find a 3 bed house for about £1,100 a month in my area where most houses are between £1,600 and £1,800 a month.

NEW: The savage impact of Labour’s housing benefit cuts has emerged - government figures show they will cost private sector tenants in all but the cheapest properties hundreds of pounds a year on average, with some areas seeing four-figure cuts By me, for Big Issue: www.bigissue.com/news/housing...

Great thread.

Surely national rules about what physician associate’s can & can’t do, standard guidance on supervision & an agreed process for patients to give consent should be a given - it goes to the very heart of patient safety

👀 It’s 36F and Ukrainians are forced to live without heat, hot water, electricity, etc. Tonight many 🇺🇦 could freeze to death as the temperature drops below 0C. This is the harsh realities of their everyday lives. The west must wake up and do something before it is too late!!!

If you’re a Georgian policeman, quit. Otherwise you are a traitor to your country. You’re modern day Berkut

Tbilisi now! #Tbilisiprotests #Georgiaprotests

So Robert Jenrick claims “activist judges” in Strasbourg would change assisted dying legislation. Well, let’s see what the Court has said previously. Why do some people keep talking complete nonsense? www.echr.coe.int/documents/d/...

“One thing is clear. We cannot afford to “stay in our lane.” As scientists and clinicians, we must strive to overcome our epistemic and disciplinary differences and demonstrate solidarity and collaboration in defence of evidence-informed policy”

Shouldn't it be possible to have better palliative care AND less protracted dying?

“MP’s should remember that they are legislating not only for their own souls but everyone else’s”. A carefully thought out and well argued piece by @lewisgoodall.com on assisted dying. inews.co.uk/opinion/mps-...

“From 2020, it was clear that the Covid pandemic was not a great equaliser Instead, it exposed and exacerbated entrenched inequalities, with those in poorer communities, frontline workers, and individuals with existing health conditions bearing the brunt” https://archive.is/2024.11.27-173905/https…

Covid positivity rates have fallen this week, but flu and RSV have risen sharply. RSV rates are rising fast, particularly amongst those under five years old.

It looks like some Russian air defense system just exploded in Crimea, Simferopol's'kyi district. Rocket fuel detonation. Typical pattern observed after air defense systems are destroyed.

Jeez. This is an outrageous post from Elon Musk. If anyone was in any doubt about where his sentiments will lie at the next UK general election look no further than this. The Prime Minister, every cabinet member & Labour MP need to join @bsky.app now

Absolutely spot on! 🎯

Ukrainians are fighting and dying every day so that we can be safe and enjoy the right to say asinine, ignorant, and cowardly things on podcasts.

If you're mood is low, take a break from doomscrolling on X. I deleted the app from my phone. I'm taking an extended break that may well become permanent. I don't need bad news overload

For over a 1000 days. Because Scholz wants back on Russian gas and Jake wants to protect Russia from «spiraling» and the rest of us are still not sure if we have the balls to grow a spine and the stomach to see #CrushingRussia through…

An estimated 20 terminally ill people in the UK die in unrelieved pain each day, according to a study by the independent Office of Health Economics (OHE). According to its research, to be presented to MPs on Tuesday, one in four people receiving palliative care in England have “unmet pain needs”.

Le Monde reports that France and Britain are discussing deploying troops to Ukraine. Talks aim to form a core European alliance to support Ukraine and ensure broader security. The idea of Western troop deployment is "not off the table" and has "gained momentum in recent weeks," the outlet says.

Reportedly, the moment of the ATACMS strike on an airfield in the Kursk region.

Deep breath.

I hope the irony of a Brexit cheerleader like Badenoch telling the CBI that "Labour doesn't listen to business" and indulges "political ideas that result in cost and red tape" is not lost on people. Does she really think she can gloss over the fact she rode that very economic vandalism to the top?

It needs to happen

These are the indicative estimates of Russia’s combat losses as of Nov. 23, according to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

🤣

As we ride out Storm Bert, pull up a chair next to the fire, and I’ll tell you a story of British humour at its best… 🧵…

Never forget the Holodomor. Never forget what Russians have done for centuries to eliminate the Ukrainian people. Never forget that genocide should have consequences. #StandWithUkraine #HolodomorRemembrance

⚡️Yuriy "Shustryy" is a member of the 🇩🇪Leopard 2A6 tank crew in the 🇺🇦21st separate mechanized brigade. His crew cleared several forest strips from the enemy, withstood 12 hits and managed to leave the battlefield on its own.

Sigh - classic fact free nonsense. ‘news’ story here totally fails to mention that Tory plans were for fines of £5k (later reduced to £3k) for each missed heat pump sale. What @Ed_Miliband has done is to reduce that to £500. Headline should read “Miliband slashes Tory boiler tax”

Ukrainian Air Force Storm Shadow/SCALP cruise missiles screaming over Russia's Kursk Oblast earlier this week, heading towards a Russian/North Korean command post.

Canada's donated NASAMS surface-to-air missile battery has been successfully delivered to Ukraine. The brand-new system, including multiple launchers, an AN/MPQ-64 Sentinel radar, control station, and support vehicles, was ordered at the end of 2022.

Ian Hislop for PM.....

This is Oleksandr, 11-year-old, from Kharkiv Oblast, victim of russian aggression

After looking at warhead debris from Dnipro I can say: • this is not: "russia is firing ICBMs at Ukraine" • this is: "russia is disposing test missiles with inert warhead mockups of its failed illegal IRBM program in the cheapest way possible" and Western idiots fall for it.

Over Xitter I’ve lost over 500 followers. Some were probably bots. Well over here at Bluesky I’m hoping to reconnect with those that jumped off the Xitanic that Musk steered right into the iceberg. I’m here to promote Ukraine’s fight for the liberation of it’s territory
