You think that's a swing.... Canadians had a 98% chance of getting a conservative government 3 months ago. Today it's like 30.

I'm especially impressed with the 1987 mattress infomercial strategy. All caps "DONT WAIT, BUY TODAY!!! BEST DEALS"

I would love to not have to rely on an American fighter... but I'd also really like to hear what our pilots think... Can the gripen handle the competition we'd face in combat? And what's the infrastructure waste cost of having to operate two distinct fighter fleets?

What an odd argument? I said she lost because she's too closely tied to trudeau, and the poor state of our economy. Carney won because he's steered Canada and the UK through the 2 largest financial crisis of our lives. I'm happy to vote for women. Just did in NB and mayor in Moncton.

Canadians are only allowed to donate upto 1700 to a Candidate. This isn't Russia or the USA where big business or Oligarchs back a candidate. 22,000 Canadians donated to him and only 3000 donated to her. It's a direct representation of their popularity within the electorate.

lol I think your dramatically underestimating the terrible state of our economy in Canada right now. Average Canadians are verry much struggling. Were at a point where only the top 5% can afford to own a home. (House or condo). Freeland has been in charge of that economy for 10 years.

The fact that Carney won with 85.9% of the vote, speaks to how Canadians see him, his experience, and his ability to handle our foreign policy situation.

Carney is significantly more experienced in handling financial crisis than Chrystia Freeland. He's the reason we barely felt the 2008 financial crisis, and the reason England recruited him to save them after Brexit. I also think Freeland likely is still in cabinet and her experience is utilized.

Freidland is fantastic!! Canada is really tired of Trudeau, and shes very closely tied to him and our dofficult economic situation. I wouldn't be surprised if she's our leader in another election cycle or 2 though.

For the cost of a nuclear program we could build a million javelin, laser welding robot dog drones.

The quarterly US GDP prediction has gone from +2.3% growth to -2.8% fall. In just ONE WEEK. Trump may have committed both the largest and the quickest act of economic self-sabotage in history.
