Hi, I'm the guy who used to oversee the federal government's agency IT telecommunications contracts. This is extremely bad. There is absolutely no need for this. Not only is it a huge security exposure, but the simplest explanation for this is that it is meant to be a security exposure.

Saw Paula Poundstone perform Friday night; she was at the top of her game (for 2+ hours!!). What struck me was how furious she was at Trump, and how hard she leaned into it. Lots of applause, lots of cheering for giving voice to the anger. "It's going to be hard, and it's not going to be quick."

been increasingly annoyed w/amazon's dark pattern of "arrives tomorrow morning by 8am" and then default setting shipping on the order to the slowest possible arrival time. You have to manually override the default to the shipping mode that actually produces the advertised arrival time.
