Here in Finland, all supermarkets have bottle recycling machines with return deposits paid back for money off or cash from your next visit to the store. Glass and plastic bottles, and aluminium cans.... all put into the same machine

A bit much for the supermarkets to cry foul when they're the ones responsible for squeezing down prime producer's prices while at the same time reaping good profits for themselves. The Governments of all colours have been complicit and to a certain extent relied in the past on the EU for Ag policy.

Even market traders and Big Issue sellers in Finland have card payment machines. About time the UK caught up with the technology and it's availability to all
