I remember seeing this on MTV when I was tiny and it took me ages to find again. So much nostalgia!

That's how I always felt about the Toby Terrier video series. It was enjoyable beyond just being a companion to the toy, and the puppets were beautiful. I had to do some digging to confirm there was no involvement with Henson, because given the quality I assumed there was!

This is sadly very common here already. Too many people create lists without vetting profiles and content at all, or out of pure spite/to vilify people they don't like. That's why I don't use blocklists.

It's unfortunate when the "this is ALL I want for my birthday" trick doesn't work 😔 I luckily got my first snake that way..
Then you could hopefully find someone to live with who appreciates all the crazy critters you do :3

Tell me about it. I had tees from early high school last for 10+ years(would have been longer if they weren't thrown out on me). I've been trying to buy vintage where possible/cheap enough now for that reason!

Pic 1 looks like the print quality I got from TeePublic. The print was completely gone after a few washes 😅

I explain that often to people regarding ferrets! I worry about how many ferrets are rehomed for "biting" that is actually play, curiosity, or communication that they aren't well! I've had a few chomp because something that isn't me spooked them.

Oh yeah, indoctrination is a big factor when that's involved. Awful stuff.

That is not to say that mink typically make good pets- they really don't.
But time and time again I hear fur farmers justify fashion farming because the animals are "mean".
I'd be pretty damn mean myself if I was in a little reeking wire pen surrounded by 10k ppl also in little wire pens.

I have spoken with mink farmers and they have directly told me they prefer the ranch mink to be mean. That otherwise it would feel like killing puppies.
Chuck literally showed a fur farmer that he WAS killing puppies. And took at least one individual out of that industry.

Like, sure, they can learn, and I'm glad they did. But rational people wouldn't need that kind of experience - they would already understand that it's wrong.

That's baffling. So if a puppy was "mean", it would be excusable to treat them that way too?
I always suspected anyone working in that type of field must have severe mental problems/difficulty with empathy, or limited ability to understand basic concepts. This confirms it.

Oh I remember flocking to Hot Topic every time new Invader Zim merch was announced, only to have most of it sold out already xD GIR merch was remnants of that, and they continued to make more despite high demand to produce merch of other characters

Very relatable! I enjoy all varieties of goth. I still miss those badass chunky boots that hurt my feet but smelled so Hot Topic-y, and the days when those striped socks lasted for years.

I'm guessing it can affect ferrets too?
