As a 62 year old PIP recipient- am terrified. My state pension upped to 67. My wife had to finish work to care for me. Using my future PIP pay to buy a light wheelchair on HP. Life not worth living if the populists get their way. Please Labour reflect on your actions for God's sake @debbieabrahams

Unlike the Winter Fuel Payment, a significant number (like me) who get PIP voted Labour. So for sick people-the NHS is sacred, financial help indefensible. Disastrous-muddled. @teamlabouruk.bsky.social

Does any sensible Govt have the choice as it would be a systemic trading disadvantage not to?

Lots of newbies on the Labour benches-'just following orders'. An excuse we've heared before for 'justifying' state violence. @teamlabouruk.bsky.social

Thank you Rachel. Labour have got this plain wrong. The narrative-the solutions. The suffering occasioned by planned cuts will add to the current pain of applying for PIP. The evidence is there to see-Debbie Abrahams and Stephen Timms side-lined by populist right ideology. Grim. Immoral.

So, freezing PIP even if inflation is high. How progressive is that? Meanwhile Water and Energy companies get to raise prices/dividends (again).

Shame on Labour. The rich, cororates, Water and Fuel companies are off the hook. Some of Britain's most vulnerable now firmly in the crosshairs. Deeply tacky and frankly immoral politics.

Yes. Morally, Labour have to provide dramatically increased/flexible healthcare access before denigrating sick/disabled ppl. Political 'car crash' may be about to happen.

It's 'dog whistle' politics. We've been here before in the late 90s with Labour, but there were not 1/2/3 year long waits for NHS Mental Health treatments back then. In this new context reforms will simply punish sick/disabled people.
