@alanconnor.bsky.social Hi Alan, big fan here. I have a popular YouTube channel about words (youtube.com/robwords) and want to make a video in which I complete an entire crossword. As a setter, how would you feel about someone doing that with one of your puzzles? Delighted or furious?

Hear hear, Jess! It has been - and continues to be - an absolute blast, pal. Shoutout to editor @martynmnw.bsky.social for making us look more slick than we actually are. Thank you so much if you've subscribed.

๐Ÿ† How did our naughty bits get their names? ๐Ÿ† Watch me blush as @jesszafarris.bsky.social and I discuss that question and many more in an episode filled with BODY ETYMOLOGY. youtu.be/c1PM3kbeOYY

Hopefully, none of you are going to totally hate me for this one. Here's my new video about bogus grammar rules for you to sink your teeth into. Ain't nobody NOT got time for this: youtu.be/BccyQaNKXz8?...

We talked about the word "doff" (as in doffing one's cap) being a contraction of "do off" the other day on the podcast, and someone pointed out that its opposite, "don," is also similarly a contraction of "do on." Amazing!

This is one of my favourite episodes. All Smiths, Wrights, Tailors, Carpenters and Butchers take note. And everyone else, just enjoy the onslaught of nerdy facts about our names for jobs and trades. youtu.be/L8QXVs2DNFk?...

Many of Pedro Carolino's botched phrases from 'English As She Is Spoke' deserve to be on t-shirts. So I've had a go. Enjoy. CRAUNCH THE MARMOSET US: tinyurl.com/craunchmarmo... EU: tinyurl.com/CraunchEU THIS GIRL HAVE A BEAUTY EDGE US: tinyurl.com/USbeautyedge EU: tinyurl.com/abeautyedge

"These peaches make me and to come water in mouth ๐Ÿ‘" "I take a broth all morning" Pedro Carolino couldn't speak English. But that didn't stop him writing a guide to the language for Portuguese speakers. The resulting phrasebook is hilarious, and the focus of my ๐ŸŽฅNEW VIDEO๐ŸŽฅ youtu.be/hXfeh0Rf5gI

In the latest episode of our disruptive podcast, @jesszafarris.bsky.social and I leverage our synergy to open the kimono on corporate jargon. Please watch and empower us to become the 800-pound gorillas of the podding world. youtu.be/ZqBYXlunxds?...

New wordy nerdy video for you. In which @jesszafarris.bsky.social and I ponder what a pawn and a rook actually areโ™Ÿ๏ธ and who the devil Jack was โ™ ๏ธ youtu.be/vBa8CIltJ24
