I’ll be sure to demonstrate my grave concern by voting yes on it, but promising to keep my brow furrowed the entire time. I’ll be sure to retain CSPAN video as proof that my concerned expression never wavers.

And the only reason they are is because Obama has one. His whole presidency has been to simply undo what Obama has done no matter how good.

Should we assume the Chinese favored Kamala? How many trademarks did they give Ivanka?

Didn’t Trump post just last night that the US wasn’t involved in this?

She’ll come up with a reason.

It’s on the damn video.

And the people in immigration courts aren’t they actually not “illegal” or “undocumented”? Aren’t they there to work through the legal process? If this is the case why aren’t dems and everyone else making this very important distinction. This is the thing I think would piss off almost everyone

It’s also because his thinking only about his crap hotels and his political base.

So yes. It’s a sales tax or a VAT. Why are they splitting hairs. This is so dumb. Some businesses will not pass on their new costs. But the then means their cost of business increases which may mean less money for employees. If they pass any portion to consumers it is a sales tax under another name

Honestly. Why can’t the freaking minimum an anchor does is just clarify… “So, no. This isn’t a legal order.” Always giving the propagandists the last word. It’s infuriating when those statements are left to sit.

This isn’t Trump’s bill. It’s Vought’s/Project 2025. Trump doesn’t care. As long as he gets his billions for himself and his family he doesn’t care at all one way or another. He doesn’t care whether he helps or harms anyone.

As funny as this is I wonder if this is the beginning of the Thiel Musk Vance Yarvin-esque coup where they now try to get Trump 25thed. If someone Musk lets slip he rigged the election for Trump in some way or just constantly pointing out the obvious how far gone Trump is.

And Vance

I can’t believe people aren’t picking up on how many politicians who are Harvard critics are Yale graduates, like Kennedy and Hawley. Work it out on the rugby pitch!

It’s because a “trade deficit” is just a number that doesn’t mean anything. Unless we want to make the stuff ourselves that another country makes, we buy that thing from the other country. Lutnick has said (but doesn’t now) that he wants us to be a nation of sweatshops.

Weird how they seem to never ask rich people to pay more. The one thing that seems to always be off the table.

Molly. It is so tough. We had to put our dog down in Feb. It was mercifully a sudden illness (internal bleeding) so it was a shock. A few months later I still choke up almost every day missing him. I’m sure you gave that guy an amazing life.

Wow that branding is really gonna speak to the youths of America.

What she means is many of her constituents will die and as long as she can continue to live her privileged life on the backs of those corpses it’s all fine.

Politicians and their consultant grifters aren’t going to save us.

And hard hitting journalists like Tapper never call them on their BS of feigned ignorance.

And the interviewers and their producers just suck at this. It’s easy to ask them to show the debt to GDP ratio at different times, like at the end of his first term. If they say COVID messed it up then show us debt to GDP ratio as of January 2019. They will repeat this lie cycle after cycle

Further so many of their policies like stripping away environmental protections and food inspections etc simply conflict with their stated goals.

Improving kids health is a great goal. I believe we over prescribe medicine and our food supply is junk. Other countries have cultural norms that provide for healthier living. But the way they are talking about it is weird and scary and could easily turn into basically nazi like behavior.
comment in response to post
Note the little statement he made. Three quarters of kids can’t serve in the military (assuming because of poor health and fitness). Therefore it’s parents’ “patriotic duty” to make sure we have a full supply of human cannon fodder.

And funny how Baghdad Barbie used her daily press briefing to take a dig at Ilhan Omar for not putting out a statement condemning this. 1. Omar already had put out a statement. 2. Why is she expected to put out a statement more than anyone else?

That was the punishment. A decree that they violated an order.

Mark I am so sorry. It’s really rough. We lost our beloved basset mix in Feb. He was 10. I choke up almost every day missing him but I am who I am now because of my life with him and his with us.
comment in response to post
They’ll still confirm him of course but by all means shoot your shot, Senator.

Look at least they own it. We will see if “this is what the country voted for” or not vs playing stupid accounting games and giving them cover by punting into the (hopefully) Dem presidency in 2028.

Ahh. All the Mideast deals that both aren’t actual deals and where there were any commitments they were committed years ago
comment in response to post
All the right wing media will have collective amnesia of the hundreds of times Trump said the exporting countries pay them, during almost every interview, press conference, and the debate.
comment in response to post
How full of it. It was only Republicans SAYING that Dems were making this an issue.
comment in response to post
Oh I’m sure they’ll come around to Trump’s way of “thinking.” They always do

Ah. Eggs are down 98 percent

So sorry George. We lost my 10 year old hound in Feb suddenly and I choke up almost every day still. What an adorable pup. Corgis are the best.

In other words there were 49 murders of farm workers of all races last year (out of 19000 total murders last year), but the fake posts said “60 white farmers are being killed per day” and calling it a genocide.

The “dire situation” mentioned here does not exist substantially, but is amplified by bs Xitter posts (xits).

And it shows how every weird thing he wants to do is because of a random thing one of his rich friends says or wants.

He is stupid. But this is exactly what it is. A 10 percent minimum national sales tax

The reporters simply are unable to frame their questions I order to call out this utter nonsense.
