Alberta Transportation Minister Devin Dreeshen was asked recently if he still supports Trump or regrets attending Trump events in the U.S. He had campaigned for Trump in 2016 and went to DC for the 2025 inauguration as a "private citizen." (He was first elected as an MLA in 2018.) His response:

I find it absolutely remarkable that Ford and Poilievre have never spoken until last Monday. Two Conservative leaders. One who is Premier of Canada's largest province and the other who is Official Opposition leader. I mean Ford hands out his cel number to random citizens on the street.
