We loved it. Nice to have a show so philosophical but funny at the same time.

OK. That's fair. Although I'm not sure if it would be such an issue for the longer range Leaf, which needs to be charged less often.

For the money, I would buy a second hand Leaf E+. I just think they will last longer and be upgradable etc due to a longer history.

There is an Australian Ora Facebook group you could join. I've rented them in Thailand a few times. They are good to drive. Very small boot though.

There are adapters, but my understanding is that they are not yet certified for Australia. People are buying them from Aliexpress. Chademo chargers are still fairly common but likely to become less so. But most people rarely need them because they charge at home.

The then prime minister, Malcolm Turnbull, described the goal as “ideology and idiocy in equal measure”. South Australia now leads the world in the integration of variable, or weather-dependent, renewables. The state government is attempting to legislate a target of 100% renewable energy by 2027.'

Would be great if this made it to Australia.

Tasmania is quite well covered with fast chargers, and the distances are shorter, so a current shape Leaf is perfect. In rural Victoria, it's more of a challenge.. There are currently 39 of this model on carsales.com.au in the $16k-$20k range
