The old relationship we had with the United States is over.

Tonight's population ( We are growing at about 34,500 per day)

We're a month away from the federal election so by my rough calculation that's at least 18 to 20 more new slogans from Pierre to go.

A must watch.

Sat with PBS NewsHour for a discussion about right-wing media's narrative dominance and also Project 2025. www.youtube.com/watch?v=iyHp...

The good news is that the world is done with this unhinged lunatic. They’re not going to back down from him. None of us should.

Uh guys? NBC just found out a DHS staffer accidentally added a journalist to an email thread about an ICE raid in Denver. Yeah, a completely separate incident. THAT staffer is being punished — so why aren’t Hegseth & Waltz???

Ruling out other factors, researchers conclude that the disparity in tickets issued is “because of what they call ‘animus’ against minority drivers on the part of the police.”

🔥 “Without a level playing field — without Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion — Meritocracy fails spectacularly… it’s ok to at any point stop and admit you didn’t think this all the way through.” cc: Rep. Aron Maberry (who is carrying yet another an anti-DEI bill)

We should all be terrified to live in an America where legal residents can be detained, held at gunpoint, or deported because of the color of their skin or because the President disagrees with their views.

To be clear, the destruction of the U.S. is the result of putting a deranged convicted felon who would fail a security clearance back in office instead of in jail and then allowing him to appoint a cabinet of unqualified criminal goons who would also fail a security clearance.

Current and former U.S. military pilots expressed bewilderment after Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth refused to acknowledge that he should not have disclosed sensitive information in an unsecured group chat. “If you can’t admit when you’re wrong, you’re going to kill somebody,” one pilot said.

If you think what happened to Rumeysa Ozturk can't happen to you because you're a citizen and she's not, you are sorely mistaken. Ozturk was snatched off the street not for being a national security threat but for having a wrong opinion. If we don't put a stop to this, it's coming for all of us.

Do you know how evil you have to be to destroy a long lasting friendly neighborly relationship with Canada on purpose? Pretty fucking evil.

This is how it's done. A strong and principled response by WilmerHale to the illegal Executive Order attack - a form of attempted government intimidation declared unconstitutional by a federal judge. This is how to guard the rule of law.

HISTORIC! Gov. Jared Polis proclaims Canada-Colorado Friendship Day! 🇨🇦 With $1.8B in trade, Colorado & Canada are powerhouse partners. Polis raised the Canadian flag & lit the Capitol red, warning that tariffs will hurt Coloradans. Thank you @govofco.bsky.social #ElbowsUp youtu.be/9qRz4BpGfLo

Doug Ford saw a man with global banking credentials and said: “That’s my type.” Enter Mark Carney: cool, composed and fluent in fiscal flirtation. It’s the bromance no one expected. Sorry, Pierre Poilievre — Doug likes winners who can count. youtu.be/PfUbgZZP9fA

Montréal is ready to stand up to President Trump — to look out for ourselves and for each other. That’s #CanadaStrong.

Why is Pam Bondi refusing to investigate the Signal chat?

Saving you a click, perhaps: not that Bill Murray.

In Feb, a Pentagon agency issued guidance that Signal is "NOT approved to process or store nonpublic unclassified information (e.g. Protected, FOUO, CUI, etc.). Any use or application must abide by DoD and NSA/CSS policy." The Sec. of Defense violated that guidance. open.substack.com/pub/saltypol...

Good question. Why DOES Pete Hegseth have a Russian phone number? 🤨

To anyone who is not clear: The First Amendment protected Rumeysa Ozturk when she published her op-ed. The same way it has protected me. Rule of law means that we should be treated equally.

AFN Chief Cindy Woodhouse Nepinak on Justin Trudeau – March 26, 2025 #cdnpoli "I'd be remiss if I didn't recognize our outgoing PM Justin Trudeau. During his decade in power Mr Trudeau did more to help improve the quality of life for First Nations than any other PM in the history of this country"

I’ve seen two of these billboards so far in metro Detroi, brought to you by the Canadian government! Well played Canada! 🇨🇦💙

Yesterday, I fondly remembered my dear friend Leonard Nimoy, who would have turned 94. His legacy lives on in our hearts. Just days ago, Bill Shatner celebrated his 94th birthday — wishing him continued health and happiness. Live long and prosper, my friends.

Pete Hegseth, not Mike Waltz, made the biggest mistake in the Signal scandal. While the national security adviser has rightfully come under fire, the defense secretary deserves the most scrutiny.

As Canadians start to learn more and see more of Poilievre, his approval numbers are collapsing (now half of Carney’s). But this… this is unreal. In today’s latest poll, Poilievre is *losing his seat.*

Judge Henderson's opinion is a full bore annihilation of DOJ.

There is something so refreshing about Mark Carney’s calm, unpolished and colloquial style. He feels like he’s one of us. When I watch Poilievre speak, he sounds like an angry, petty, vindictive used car salesman full of inauthentic pomp and plastic passion.

Much of the media's attention is focused on what harm Pete Hegseth's reckless irresponsibility might do to him, when it should be focused on what harm it could have done to our troops--and *will* do to our relationships with allies, especially in Europe.
