So, Cassidy is a gullible moron. Got it.

I feel like Trump will call Kim Jong Un and Putin after the parade like an excited kid saying "did you see what I did! Im just like my idols now! I love you guys so much. Can I join the club now?"

Yeah, I keep thinking there needs to be a legit liberal answer to Fox and Newsmax. They keep saying NPR is liberal, but they are simply factual. Liberal media that is as loosely based in reality as Fox. Who cares if it's true if it makes Republicans look bad (truth already makes the look bad).

Bigotry's not big of me, and it's not big of you! Sorry, I'm in a production of The Prom right now, and I saw the word bigotry.

That seed was planted with Reagan and trickle down economic ideas. Cut taxes for the wealthy, and they will distribute the money via jobs and donations, they said. Instead, we now have mega yachts.

In all fairness, at least you finally woke up and are willing to speak out about it. It's probably too little too late, though.

Yes, you voted for it, so shut the fuck up. You sold out your own people, you fucking morons. Harris was an unknown, sure, but you chose to back someone who showed us in his first term that he hated everything about immigrants and said as much in the campaign trail.

Classic narcissist move. Say the other person is doing exactly the thing you are (or are going to be) guilty of. Blaming the democrats for weaponizong the DOJ before the Republicans actually did it.

So, the civil war is starting in L.A. this time?

As a teacher, I'd either rip it down, cover it up, or hang up the equivalent from as many religions as I could find. I'm surprised it hasn't happened here yet. I think/hope the teacher's union would fight it.

Isn't that basically how the French Revolution started?

I frankly worry whether there will even be a mid-term election. I can see Trump pulling some BS "emergency" out of thin air and postponing them indefinitely.

To clarify, it seems like Trump asked an AI chatbot to generate a list of tariffs.

I'd also like to know how they think Harris could have possibly been worse.
comment in response to post
I don't feel sorry for any of them. They voted for it, they can sink with it. Also, it pisses me off that with all the talk about tariffs, people that didn't know what tariffs are never looked it up. Get educated, or don't vote.

Checks and balances are a toothless myth, and I think Trump figured that out in his four years out of office.

My big question that I still haven't seen an answer to is who can enforce the rulings? He should have probably been arrested several times now, but that's not likely to happen. Congress is supposed to have the power to do something, but they won't.

I've put in over 1000 hours on ESO. I still feel bad for committing crimes.

Well, we just witnessed a lot of senators not giving a shit about any of it. So, good luck getting them to unite against any of this.

Of course, it could just be that cybertrucks are fugly as hell.

Did someone set it on fire, or did it just catch fire itself like they are prone to doing?

You mean shut down more? It's already being shut down chaotically by the Muskrat.
comment in response to post
It didn't really seem to cause any lasting consequences for the Republicans.

Entirely possible considering the speech at the Department of Injustice.
comment in response to post
I thought my senators (Capito and Justice) were worse than useless. These 10 are worse than that because you expected them to do something right. They are on the wrong side of history.

All spineless losers. Maybe if we start putting it in terms they're used to hearing from their Dear Orange Leader.

My question to Trump saying Ukraine could have cut a deal to end or prevent the war is what kind of deal? Absolute surrender? How do you cut any other kind of deal when someone rolls tanks into your front yard? Redneck Trump supporters would shoot first if someone did that at their place.
comment in response to post
Possibly. Younger people, or people from other countries, may not immediately know what happened nearly a decade ago. It's hard to think 2016 was that long ago.

Considering they helped him get elected the first time.

If it isn't on Fox News or Newsmax, a large portion of the country doesn't see or hear it. They've created an echo chamber.
comment in response to post
Sadly, I'm expecting some manufactured crisis that would allow them to legally be postponed.

Conveniently not mentioning the Russian tanks rolling into Ukraine first. He also neglected to mention Crimea in 2014. But, Trump's got a boner for Putin, so it makes sense he would kiss his ass.

This made me feel better about the world. They're so cute!

This is why I say I'm too poor to be a Republican. None of their policies help you in the long run unless you make several million dollars a year. Also, the idea that tariffs will somehow magically make factories pop up in the U.S. is naive.
