I am in planning mode for 2025 and not that much on social right now... curious how Bluesky will fit into my activities in 2025. Blog-traffic-wise, I am not expecting much of any social network.

Looks interesting, I am looking for a Camtasia replacement. It works well on Windows, but MacOS.. not so much.

The time spent in those tools is mainly used for content creation @freshvanroot.com blog, and working on client projects. The AI subscription tool costs are increasing, and I can't continue to be on all pro subscriptions, especially not for everyone on the team.

On @freshvanroot.com I switched to Fathom Analytics from Google Analytics, which claims it does a site using it not require a cookie banner.. but as soon as I embed a YT Video, I should display a Cookie Banner 🤪

Great approach. Would need a full day to move all domains to the same registrar .. time well spent instead of thinking when to renew what

Hard to compress in bsky posts - two thoughts: 1) scaling misinformation campaigns got easy with GenAI - AI lowering the skills needed to do it (example: freshvanroot.com/blog/artific...) 2) social media platforms detecting AI gen content.. the cat and mouse game will continue forever potentially!?

And we haven't figured out how to limit the negative impact social media has on society and democracy yet. Or have not found ways to regulate it. GenAI, now added on top of it, is acting as an accelerant
