“Manhunter,” for using the entire 17 minutes of In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida by Iron Butterfly for its climax; just for a movie score, I’d go with “Last of the Mohicans.”

“Jessica” by the Allman Brothers Band. It’s playing as Ray Kinsella drives his van in Boston in FIELD OF DREAMS.

If you ever actually read the lyrics (which I just did, because of your post), you’ll realize why you still don’t know any of the lyrics.

I'm all for being merciful, but to be fair, there are times when Biden's "deep and sincere faith" obviously doesn't influence his stance on an issue. And there are certainly other people on the political spectrum that seem to point to their "faith" conveniently, rather than committedly.

Yet God has promised that the Church will survive. (Maybe that's what you mean when you say "recognizable form.")

My thoughts exactly! But if it’s a legal play, I love it!

Scott Jennings used to be an occasional voice of reason at CNN. Since Trump won again, it’s like he’s had a lobotomy.

Its origin is in its first verse. If you reject that, we will obviously disagree. That’s okay. Like your bio, I am also pro-Ukrainian, pro-science, & pro-democracy. Let’s go with that!

God created the science many non-believers lean on. Common sense & critical thinking are encouraged in many Bible passages. Some believers (regrettably) have not done a suitable job of modeling their faith. But many have. Admitting we all need help is Step 1; that's what seems to trip up most folks.

He never actually pitched for Detroit; he threw 3 inning for Cleveland in 1958 and 2.2 for the Yankees in 1968, picking up a win the second time. Didn't allow a run in those 5.2 innings. He was incredible. He COULD throw strikes from the warning track, though -- I witnessed that personally.

I'm not too young. Rocky Colavito was my first favorite MLB player. One of the best to ever wear the Tiger uniform. His 1961 season was brilliant. His 4-HR game at Baltimore's Municipal Stadium (when no TEAM had ever hit 4 in a game there before) is the stuff of legend. And, an arm like Clemente.
