It’s immoral. The royals are the biggest benefits scroungers in the country. Why should the already mega rich be paid by the taxpayer while the poorest and most vulnerable in society struggle to live? It’s beyond time for a shake up. Abolish the monarchy!

Johnson’s partygate & Truss’s lettuce gave Starmer a golden opportunity But instead he ran with a ming vase manifesto, even agreeing to match Sunak’s cynical tax cuts Now with Reeves under pressure, he’s missed his opportunity to tackle bold ideas

Same here. The BBC is no longer an organ of truth and impartiality. It’s now in contention with GBeebies for the title of right wing propaganda machine and purveyor of misinformation. Victoria Derbyshire is the only impartial journalist still working there. A beacon of light in these dark times.

I’m campaigning for a ban on fossil fuel ads in the UK , for too long these fossil fuel giants have had unlimited spending power to greenwash their filthy reputations for politicians and the public . Please sign my Gov petition - thank you petition.parliament.uk/petitions/70...

As a Brit living in US, the hardest thing to adapt to is the fact that so much of the food contains some kind of syrup it’s effectively toxic glue & inedible. If we ever succumbed to a trade deal where we had to take US food we will be in big trouble with toxins, cancers etc.

In board meetings, my concerns about a potential breach were dismissed as alarmist, and many colleagues expressed blind faith in our security. But recent events in the USA highlight a chilling truth: whoever controls information controls infrastructure and democracy. Who controls u? 2/2

We used to have a convention that former civil servants continued to observe the political neutrality that was required of them throughout their professional lives. Simon Case didn’t impress as Cabinet Secretary, and now we know why: besides being over-promoted, he pushed his own right-wing views.
