Too often, disabled people are accused of being lazy. Of not “trying hard enough” We try so hard. Managing complex illness is a full time job. You never get a break. You do it through pain & fatigue others can’t fathom. It’s not lazy to rest. It’s not lazy to protect your baseline. It’s survival.

If you got rid of Brexit you would be able to compensate WASPI women, get rid of the two child benefit cap, have no disability cuts, still have the Winter Fuel Allowance, free school meals, no University Tuition Fees. And you would have only spent half of it.

Every time a Labour MP is asked about Brexit, they trot out the same line; “We are not rejoining the EU” and the journalist accepts the answer and moves on. I suggest they respond with “Why? The majority of people are now in favour of rejoining so what is the problem?” I genuinely want to know.
