Didn't Obama request congressional approval in 2013 for military intervention in Syria to reply to the use of chemical weapons on civilians, but congress would not give approval?

Thank you for continuing to bring attention. I’ve called my senators and congresswoman. But what else can be done to help?

Thank you!

He definitely deserves due process. But I wonder if it could be to distract from the makeup artist, Venezuelan football player and others who were here legally while following all the asylum rules yet were deported with no due process and may have less "bad" things the DOJ can use.

But would KSV read it?

The vast majority of endowments are restricted for specific programs designated by the donor. It’s not funds they can use for any purpose. Also, perpetual endowments usually limit their spending to 4% of the total.

Yep, it's totally disgraceful.

Thx but there needs to be much better messaging by the DNC to inform the public what is going on--campaign style blitz, info on TikTok, etc. Need to influence public opinion and now is the time. You/staff should talk to DNC about having a good messaging campaign around what is happening.

If that’s your goal it would be better to donate to PBS since they are paying to air the show as well and it’s free to viewers.

Your numbers seem off. You are saying they will only increase by 29% over the next 30 years?? Or do you mean that could be the annual increase?

Since we seem to be living in a poorly written movie, wouldn't a great plot twist be Paul Weiss providing pro bono legal service against the EO.

Unfortunately it will likely benefit him as he will be “exonerated” and it will play into the “witch hunt” and “hoax” narrative.
comment in response to post
Agree and it also will result in continual messaging about how he has been “exonerated”, “witch hunt”, etc. Could actually benefit him.

It's a spacious accommodation.

As he disputes the need for due process and other core American values he wants to put up more flag poles. False (and performative) patriotism.

Thank you for continuing to amplify this message. The press reports I read indicated he used the official US app to make an appointment for asylum and was following all legal procedures and was sent to El Salvador with no due process. It's truly disgusiting.

I wonder if when he took the oath to “execute the office of the President” he thought it meant “to kill”.

Sure, kind words about the Saturday morning wake up. But when it really mattered 🤔

There already appears to be--Andry Hernandez Romero (gay makeup artist), Jerce Reyes (Venezuelan football player), etc. Press reports say these individuals used the CBP One program and were given permission to be in the US while their asylum cases were progressing.

An equally or likely even more sympathetic person seems to be Hernandez Romero who followed all asylum rules (gay makeup artist) that even Joe Rogan questioned the admin on.

Hopefully you have a banana growing class tomorrow.

Sadly it wouldn't be too shocking if they replaced the black bears with polar bears.

The lack of honesty and integrity is disheartening. Attack the media over and over vs. taking responsibility for a truly epic screw up. If it's a "so-called" journalist and he's a "so-called" Secretary.

100%!!

Agree it’s repugnant, but read Steve Vladek’s post—apparently it was not the basis for Japanese internment.

Attend. Don’t disrupt. Be the adults/serious party and the contrast will be favorable. Be sure to articulate the real world consequences of what is being done to government.

Many municipalities look at the # of active library card holders as one of the metrics they use to determine funding of the libary system.

This is from a satirical article written for the New Yorker in 2019. It’s not an official statement from Denmark.

It’s likely all the “starter packs” that many have made. You were on an Anthony Michael Kreis starter pack which is how I found you and glad I did. Your take on the current situation 🤦‍♂️ would be great!

Congrats and thanks for all the great work you do! KSV's talents are rubbing off on you.
