Okay, so... Gurathin is *an awesome character.* He's awesome in the books, and he's awesome in #Murderbot the show, and let's just say that David Dastmalchian is doing a fantastic job with his character. I love an antagonist who is not a villain. And I love how the show supports him. 🧵

I think one of the truly sad tragedies if this initial AI era are those who have bought into "prompt writing" as a marketable skill, like that won't be the very next thing AI creators shore up. I hate to be the guy tapping the sign again, but you are not USING AI, you are TRAINING it to replace you.

It was this way at the Bryan TX protest too. People passing out water bottles from coolers, cars driving by handing out water. The bar/restaurant across the street from where we were let people use their restrooms and had coolers out front. They put “No Kings” on their sign.

My little Cornish junior school had a rather ambiguous and wonderful motto and logo which it retains: A crown and an axe 👑🪓 motto: REMEMBER I had a version made for my sister for her birthday a couple of years ago! Thought it rather appropriate for today’s #NoKings protests

@marthawells.com My family is now up to episode 6 of #Murderbot and we are LOVING it! For me the stand out performance is Dastmalchian as Gurathin (a role I honestly thought would be very hard to get right!) but Skarsgård is also remarkable—amazing stuff! Love the rest of them too! But text limit!

In a bit of positive, I *finally* got a chance to sit down and watch the new MurderBot show by @marthawells.com "Just the first episode" I told myself... Next thing I knew I was yelling at the television, "NO I DON'T WANNA WAIT A WEEK FOR ANOTHER EP!" As a *lover* of the books, It was EXCELLENT
