All three paws off the ground! He’s flying!

It’s King Wufus’ official birthday today! (We not exactly sure when his real birthday is) He is Two years old! (And quite annoyed that I’m disturbing his morning nap)

I had a Crunchy NUT cornflake frenzy and now I’m going to do writing/staring out of window.

Ageism is annoying, isn’t it?

Last night I tried to imagine the notion that time happens everywhere at once, and the idea that retrocausality *may* be possible in quantum physics, leading to the idea that *if* consciousness is quantum maybe you can subtly influence the past in the present. So I cheered past little me up. Maybe.

Birds and rain out of my window today!

Who’s yours?

I'm back reporting for @the-bookseller.bsky.social on Thursdays and Fridays! Email me your juiciest - [email protected] (and apols if yours was one of the 5,000 emails I returned to😬I will be replying to ones received from today...)

A hell of a weird story is coming to your chosen podcast platform. Headphones on to get lost in a haunted landscape with me and @willmac23.bsky.social pod.link/1745494718 #BrokenVeil

So one of the things that I think is lost on AI proponents is what I call the card catalog effect, a thing I shouldn’t call it because a lot of people probably have no experience with a card catalog.

Yup. Generative AI is shady, thieving shit that's also environmentally-destructive. Kick it to the curb with vigor and disdain.

This meeting room is in a Cabaret style formation. It’s less fun than it sounds….

Off for romantic paint choosing with husband ❤️❤️❤️❤️ # make DIY Romantic again

I’m trying very hard not to look at heed but I’m really worried about everything.

For #ValentinesDay I’m going to tell you the story of William Weightman and Bronte Sisters Valentines cards. Here is a drawing of William made by Charlotte in 1840. I think we can all agree that he’s a fox. 1/❤️

Freud was right. I’ve got pen envy.

I’ve got new glasses! My 15 year son says they are silly. I said HE is silly, but anyway they are special secret help me drive at night glasses. So I hope they work!

POV you lay on the floor to stretch your back.

Do you love the Brontës? Do you daily ask yourself WHAT WOULD CHARLOTTE BRONTE DO? (WWCBD?) Can you get to Haworth on March 20th to join me @karenpowellwrites.bsky.social and Graham Watson celebrating the life of my queen Charlotte Brontë? Then come! www.waveofnostalgia.co.uk/event-ticket...

Man greeted by Otter Pup in the water

When someone reads a bedtime story to a toddler in a movie that toddler always falls asleep before the end of the story. Has this ever actually happened in all of recorded history? Because when my kids were little there was no story long enough to achieve that. Like, none.

I know I complained about January, but I’m already over February. There’s no cold like the cold you get living in a creaky old haunted Victorian house on a hill opposite the North Sea. BRING ME SPRING!

It’s so freaking cold in Scarborough today, I’ve had to break out my heated hoody.
