It was the same biking home & dodging puddles. Lots of soles & a shared sense of adventure

Good letter. Even the abridged version. I did note that none of the letters -as published- called out the wimpy headlines. No real surprise. Also the caption for the picture with the letters is very passive: “ several correspondents..are strongly critical..”)

Back in the day when there were ?8 movie theatres around cathedral sq, I think the Gloucester/ Colombo corner was a Barnes dance. (Traffic lights were exotic for those not from the City, but the name doubly so

I'd like to see freight bound for Lyttelton banned from Brougham St. It should all go on to trains at Rolleston

It would be lovely if the journalists would stop referring to underfunding as a deficit

Just a shame about the running block/ petty politics / anti bike rhetoric that’s stuffed the wings to wheels

Likewise. Have an occasional look. But no posts.

The lights where unicycle crosses Straven rd - the N extension of Clarence st- are essentially on demand. Always satisfying to cross all that traffic that isn’t going anyway fast. And yes mostly single occupant

So the MP for Ilam’s “mission statement” includes “…to see a strong health and education system that gives everyone a fair chance, along with a genuine consideration for our natural environment”. I’ve suggested that makes opposition to both RSB & Treaty Principles the only ethical option for him

Yup. An email is the plan. ✅ Now just chasing the details of my (invisible National) electorate MP to send him a copy

Good work!! What are you using to measure speed? There’s a stop sign near me that I think about watching how many cars (most) roll thru, but speed would be an interesting add on.

And almost as breezy

And isn’t the costal pathway a wonderful asset. It’ll be packed on a day like this. (Despite the naysayers before it was finished)

Gave up on driving to summer on any resembling a fine weekend day long ago. But it’s a great destination by (e)bike. And using both Heathcote & Linwood ave cycleways makes a great loop

Always a good day to be there

Thanks for the tips. One of many pending projects is digging under hood a bit more - mostly to understand

So my attempt at blocking the bovine part of the domain name failed - there’s another appeared today - so looks like I keep on blocking one by one….

All coming from same domain with repackaged news feeds. New ones pop up ever few days. I’ve just tried blocking the domain (bovine related) - will see how that goes.

Tho I tend to stick to 3ng/ml (about 1mcg/kg/min). My understanding is hyperalgesia not an issue <8ng/ml. I’ve seen wide variety of practice between well known TCI centres of excellence

Used to induce for cardiac with 5mg fentanyl over 5-10min - done for cvs stability. Approx equiv to a slow push of 1mg remi. )Don’t ask why I felt the need to model this…).

Ōtūwharekai….I think is the name for the region not just one group of lakes. (Looking across Lake Heron toward the Cameron Valley & Arrowsmiths

I do this occasionally as well. It’s not common so gets looks but works

But they could never characterise the taste

My brain hurts at how we used to pronounce Hakatere. Without really understanding it was the name of the whole river. Not just a settlement at the river mouth (& a high country station .. join the dots

These are the important questions, requiring some thought. Right handed & with cob pointing right. But no fancy forks so grip with nails only on L & then the unripe tip seemed to have less heat. For the rest ➡️ & ⬇️
