If car drivers are regularly hitting the tim-tam separators, the solution should NOT be then to remove them so that nothing stands between the drivers and the cyclists. If you're not good enough a driver to miss a tim-tam, you're not good enough a driver to miss a cyclist.

Quite the sunset all over

WHAT A FANTASTIC INITIATIVE! Add your name to this Waitangi Tribunal claim against Seymour's shameful Regulatory Standards Bill. You don't need to be Māori. And it only takes a couple of minutes. Stand up, and have your say.

On 9 Jan, a Facebook post by Hobsons Pledge generated 566 comments. The day after, it had increased to 1,400 (today, it's 1,000 more!). Studied all the comments on Thursday, & Friday. Additionally studied 2,100+ comments on 5 FB posts published over weekend also targeting Treaty Principles Bill.

Hey y’all. Time is running out to make a submission on the Regulatory Standards Bill Which if passed will removed Te Tiriti and the Bill of Rights from regulatory standards. It comes from ACT, Nats have not said they won’t support it. It will basically put $ ahead of everything else.

A neat piece of research done as part of my 300 level course shows that cycleways are associated with a modest increase in property prices has got a bit of media attention www.thepress.co.nz/a/nz-news/36... The research can be found here www.canterbury.ac.nz/study/academ...

So we have a biosecurity minister who is not really interested in bio security, but VERY interested in promoting live animal exports, and removing freshwater regulations for dairy farmers. Casey Costello / Nicole McKee vibes. #nzpol

Cripple the health service then "save" it with privatisation. Never mind the people who die in the process. Nearly 1500 more Te Whatu Ora roles face axe, PSA says www.rnz.co.nz/news/nationa...
