Real talk, though, I could understand the generation that served in the Great War wanting to seize any chance they could not to repeat that shit. Plus, that war was all about nations escalating needlessly and being too entangled in alliances. WWII had very different lessons in store.

I don’t understand why they want to get rid of FDIC…do they want bank runs? It just seems like the knock on effects of a 19th century style bank collapse would hurt even the billionaires, so corruption doesn’t even really make this one make sense to me.
